I have already added The Lost World to the tracking spreadsheet. Gem has read it so it fits for a reverse and I've put it in a hand with a Draw 2 as the main character is called Edward so it fits for one of those 8's as well.
I definitely want to get that book read soon. It's been on my TBR way too long so it will be my first read.

Hey all, I am Keely, your co-captain for this round of UNO!

I also live in the UK, but I have plans to move to Norway (hopefully this year). I recently got engaged and we are hoping to get married later this year so I am already a bit stressed with wedding planning.

This will also be my 6th UNO! I will read pretty much anything and I have already found plenty of options for reverse cards from your read shelves so I can definitely cover some of those. I don't think I have any coloured covers I desperately want to read, but I can find ones that fit if needed.

I am always happy to help answer questions!

Yay! I love UNO! I've played since 2020 and is one of the reasons I look forward to a new year.

I don't really collect coloured covers but I do usually think "that would work for UNO" if I read one for another challenge. Although I do have some saved in case.

I will usually read anything, especially for a challenge. I tend to enjoy fantasy and mystery books more, but other genres have surprised me.

I finished my last book and just added the read date to the spreadsheet. It looks like the mini is complete now!

I'm working on The Girl Who Played with Fire. I should finish it in the next couple of hours. And then I'll start my last book. I'm confident I will be able to finish it in time

Quick Update

Hello team. Just a quick update on where we stand as the month is coming to an end.

We have 17 cards left to complete including a 4 Red and a reverse.
Karen is reading a book that will cover the 4 Red and there are a few books on the spreadsheet that will cover the reverse. The other cards are just the normal number cards.

For the Mini, we have 5 unclaimed tasks remaining:

25. Read a book shelved as Romantic Suspense or Gothic Romance
32. Read a book with a character considered incapable of love or with a doomed lovers trope
34. Read a book featuring an enemies-to-lovers trope
36. Read a book with an ending you consider unresolved or unhappy or dissatisfying
48. Read a book with a character sharing some trait with your team villain

Karen - I moved your None of This Is True book into the thriller task so that Sally's book could go in the crime one.

I moved my book The Girl Who Played with Fire from task 21 (tagged thriller or horror) of the mini to task 39 (shelved revenge) as 39 seemed a more difficult task. I should finish the book very soon and then I'll find some shorter books to help us with some cards/tasks.

I'm glad you had a good time despite the set back at the end, Lisa.

Of course! I started the book this morning so I should be able to finish it in the next few days.

I'm reading A Court of Thorns and Roses and I'm looking at where to place it in the mini. It can fit many of the Tricky Types & Tropes tasks. I'm just not sure which on to put it under. Can anyone who has finished the book lend a hand?

Hi team, I'm sorry I've not been as active lately. I've been quite ill and ended up being off work for 2 and a half weeks. I was finally able to return to work this weekend but it has been a huge struggle. I'm hoping to get some reading done between now and the end of the month to catch up

I have moved the last of the books onto the official spreadsheet which means we have officially completed March!

Thank you for swapping my Queens Gambit book out, Karen. As I mentioned, I currently have a chest infection which isn't getting better after being on antibiotics for about 5 days. I may have to contact the non emergency line to get some advice or maybe an out of hours doctor appointment as I'm not sure I can wait until Tuesday, due to it being Easter. Reading hasn't really taken priority this week.

I'll see if I can find a yellow to cover one of those when I get a chance, but a lot of my books for April will probably be more useful as reverses

Update

We have now completed all cards in the main part for March.

However we still have 3 spots open for part 2 of the mini. Myself, Lisa and Rachael each have a book claimed but unfinished in the mini. It sounds like Sammy may be able to help us finish the rest of the mini if people want to save their current reads for April.

I've been trying to keep the spreadsheet as up to date as I can, Karen. I've been off of work this week with a chest infection so I've had plenty of extra time.

Also, I will finish my last 2 books on the spreadsheet. Both are close to being done.
