I've be struggling through a couple of my books. I'm holding off on finishing anything until the mini starts but I still feel like I'm making such slow progress. One of them is my yellow book and I really don't want to have to try and find another one. I keep hoping it will pick up my interest the more of it I get through.

That is such a good explaination, Jane! The visuals really help as well, especially for newer members. Thank you for taking the time to do that!

I forgot to put that the mini starts on the 15th so only books finished on or after that date can count. As usual books can be started before.

We should get news of a mini in the next few days! As usual, Gem or I will post here once it is announced. I always enjoyed seeing the fun tasks the mods come up with for us.

March Week 1 Update

We're already one week into March. Most of the colour cards have been claimed, but we still need a Skip Green and two WD4. We still need 8 more reverse with 5 of our 13 being claimed so keep an eye out for books teammates have previously read.

It looks like we're a little behind on completed books, but I know several of us are reading multiple books at once. We have just under half of what we need claimed which is great.

Yes, as we both agreed it's blue, it can be used for a blue card, or in this case WD4.

That's one of those colours that could be either. I think it looks more blue. We'll wait and see what Gem thinks and if we disagree we can ask the other captains to give us a majority answer.

I just got back from visiting a friend and stayed overnight as we had a few drinks and a good catch up. Unfortunately it meant no reading was done yesterday or today. But I have the next couple of days free to catch up. I should finish my first book of the month tomorrow. I have a few on the go at the moment so hopefully others will follow shortly after.

Thank you for letting us know, Jane. I should be able to read some extra books as long as I stick to shorter books. I'll keep it in mind when I'm looking for my next books!

We only have 4 books remaining.

Keri's WD4 red, Klare's skip which is also the last one we need for the mini, Jane's WD4 yellow and Gem's 9.

I had some time so I did the swap around. Jane's book had a 4 so I just replaced Gem's book with it. And I've move the completed mini character over to the spreadsheet.

I'll finish my last book on the spreadsheet tonight.

Just checking if anyone doesn't think they will finish theirs as I could read a short book tomorrow if needed. We do already have a spare book from Jane we could use.
If we are good then I will make a start on my March books tomorrow.

We are very close to being done with this month's books with just a handful left!

Just to add a reminder that books started now (or anytime since the start of the challenge on the 1st Feb) can be completed in March. You don't have to wait until the next round to start new books :)
