Jane - Can you add Level Up or Die!, Family Secrets and Christmas Train to your shelf please?
There's a hand with a Draw 2 and two reverse cards in so I've found a book for a reverse I will read and added it so that's one less reverse to worry about.
I've just had a look at our March cards. 13 reverses! Our coloured cards don't look too bad though.

February Week 3 UpdateWe are in the final week of the first round of Uno 2025!
As Gem said earlier, all coloured cards are now claimed and it looks like we only need 5 more other cards to be claimed. A 6, 7, 8, Skip and Wild are the cards we need. If you are going to read a book that does not fit one of those but fits another card, let us know and Gem or I can have a play around and try to make space.
All but one task of the mini has now been claim. We need a book with the word "gangster" in it so keep an eye out.
It's cruicial at this point in the round that you let us know if there are any books you have claimed but don't think you will finish in time so that someone has a chance to find and read a replacement. This is especially important if it is one of our colour cards.

I just swapped out my 8 Green book. I put Keri's one in its place which was in a WD4 slot. I've put a 5 Blue in the WD4 slot instead and the book also works for the same mini task as the green book I was originially going to read. The new book is much shorter and I need to read it for another challenge.
Jane - Can you add Dibs on the Captain to your shelf please?Brittany - The Dragon's Christmas Gift is showing as 80 pages. The page minimum for this challenge is 100 pages. Unless you read an edition that was longer than 100 pages, we cannot use it unfortunately.
That's a shame but not to worry. I'll keep my book as planned. I have come down with some sort of awful stomach bug. I very nearly passed out at a wedding dress appointment yesterday. I then spent the rest of the day in bed trying to get warm despite being wrapped up in so many blankets. I'm feeling better now but not 100% so I won't be doing much today.
I had plans to get some reading done yesterday and finish Onyx Storm but that obviously didn't go to plan. I'll be spending most of today in bed but that's a good excuse to get some reading done, probably in between naps 😂
Jane - If it has an E we could swap it out with mine and I'll read something else for a different colour or harder card.
I'm starting to think I have bitten off more than I can chew with my books I added to the spreadsheet. Too many longer books. I'm over halfway through Onyx Storm and then I plan to read my green book. Depending on how long those take, I may have to swap out the others for shorter books. I'll still try and cover the mini tasks I have claim unless someone says they've got books that will work instead.

Not a problem, Keri! Life would be so much easier if it did read our minds!
February Halfway Update Happy Valentines Day everyone and that aslo means we are halfway through the shortest month of the year!
We have completed 47 books (including the two which need shelf amendments) out of 101, so we are just a few books short of being halfway done!
We still need a 7 Green and two more WD4. If my copy comes through in time I could cover the 7 Green, but it is still saying about 2 weeks.
We've made a good start on the Feb Mini already! We have 8 tasks left unclaimed at the time of writing this, but as the mini just started there is no cause for concern.
We are making good progress team. Keep up the good work!

I added a few books that I have lined up. I'm hoping to get through them all, but some of them are on the longer side so it might be close.
I've now added my next three books to the mini list. I'm not going to finish any more books before the mini now. It looks like we have two, maybe three, definite characters now, but they are all heros. We do need to have at least one villian. One hero and one villain currently have just one task filled in.
I'm going to be out all day so I can't add mine yet. I think my current reads work for several tasks so I will work around others if needed. I'll probably get home too late tonight to add mine, but I'll definitely be able to do it tomorrow.

◈ Every book read, i.e. every task completed, is worth 10 points. Each book can be used for one task only.
◈ Books for tasks can be finished in any order. No need to complete blocks to get the 10 points/book.
◈ Completing six sets of tasks (ie six characters) will award your team a completion bonus of 30 points.
◈ Books used for this mini challenge do not need to be separate books from what you are claiming for your UNO hands.
◈ The usual book length rules apply.
◈ Team spreadsheets will be updated with a mini challenge tab so that you can track your books and claim your points.
◈ Books can be started at any point since the start of the UNO challenge (Feb 1).
◈ Books need to be finished after the start of this mini challenge on 14 February, 9am UTC (Countdown: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown...) and before 1 March, 9am UTC.
