Thanks so much for taking this on, Susan. I have actually been sick with a systemic infection, and am hoping the new meds finally work. Looks like you got everything organized great!

8565 Wow, Susan. That is a an eye opening quote. It certainly paints quite a picture.

How about one of Erik Larson's books. They are non-fiction stories of true crimes and really good. Another series that my sister and I have found really interesting are the History of books, like: A History of the World in 6 Glasses.

Good catch, Candiss.

That is a good question, Bea. The theme is supposed to be something that everyone can easily do, so I would say that just the word in the title would suffice. I looked at your POTS list and the following two books would fit IMO:
Breathless
Ghost Singer

So maybe you would only need one more. I see you have some mysteries. Could any of the bad guys in them be classed as "monsters" or do they have victims that appear as ghosts?

8565 Lauren's choice of Theme for Cycle #4 is:

Halloween. Pick a book with a monster in it (werewolf, vampire, zombie, ghost, demon, etc.)
8565 Same here. I have been meaning to get to this book for a while. Glad you liked it Niamh. :)

That is too funny, Adrienne. More than she actually wrote. I wonder how you do that? You must have multiple copies of some of them on your list.
8565 Wow, Tien. That would drive me nuts, not having the wiring finished. Congrats on the new house and job, though.

I will try my best to keep things going and people discussing.

Along with your reviews, don't forget to post your debut quotes here.

LOL, Tien - more than all the wildebeest in all the plains of Africa?!?! That is funny. Does he even know how much all the wildebeest in all the plains of Africa weigh?

Thanks for trying this, Candiss, it is really fun. I will be picking the person who determines the theme today. I wanted to give everyone time to post what they had finished. The book picking does not start until Sept. 7, so there is plenty of time to include books on the shelf between the first and the 7th. I will let you know as soon as the decision is made.

8565 Are you a first time quote leaver? Debut a quote from your debut novel. Any quote that you feel represents the book you are reading,. Or if you are stuck, page 46 always works!
