8565 Muchos apologies, all. This has been a hectic month for me. Sorry I haven't kept up like I should, but go ahead and report your finished books here. :)

8565 Thanks all. And thanks for setting up the thread for Team 2, Julia.

Please do, Lauren! :)

8565 I'm back!!!! Thanks for filling in Tien. Things should be evening out now, so I am back in action....at least I think I am, lol.

Glad to see things went smoothly while I was gone, and sorry for my lack of participation last cycle. My niece and her husband were in a head on collision and things were dicey for a while. They are on the mend and all back home with the kids now, so it is all good at this point.

8565 Thanks. I was thinking it might lighten things up a bit. I'm expecting some pretty heavy quotes this time. :)

8565 Wow, that sounds interesting, Susan. I think I have that book to read. Your quote certainly peaked my interest.

8565 .....well, a book off of the Death list, that is. What makes your book a "Death" book. Pick a quote that lets us know. Any good quote will do, but if you are stuck, a quote from page 46 is always good.

That one sounds intriguining.

Grave Mercy was one of my favorites from last year. I have my copy of Dark Triumph, but haven't gotten to it yet. I hope to soon.

Actually, Amazon hasn't even acquired Goodreads yet. The acauisition doesn't happen until the end of June, so any changes you see at this point are all on Goodreads management. Although I think you are right, I think this opt in/out has been around for a while.

Karen - I had I Am Not A Serial Killer from the library at one point and had to return it unread. It looks interesting.

8565 Sorry you weren't feeling well, Tien. Glad you are better now.

Another good choice this month. I have 12 books in the first 3 pages. I think I am going to go with:

The Last Song, which is a POTS book, if I don't get to it this month.
Divergent - For my One A Month Challenge in another group
and maybe
Me Before You, which I have been trying to get to. We'll see how it goes. :)

And for those looking for something to read, may I suggest If I Stay by Gayle Forman. This book is on my higly recommended reading list.

8565 I finished The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau. I enjoyed this YA adventure book that is obviously patterened after The Hunger Games series. Even though I recongnized early on that it was THG revisited, with a few changes, it kept me interested and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Therefore I am giving it 4 stars. I should finish my Bette Lee Crosby book today, so next up on my list are Parallax View by Allan Leverone and Amity & Sorrow: A Novel by Peggy Riley

LOL, Karen. That is funny....a definite benefit, right?

I am actually doing a year long celebration of short stories this year, Fairlee. I have to say, it is a bit difficult to find good short story books that aren't mysteries.

8565 Ok, lets pick and get reading, lol.

I really want to read all of the books you guys picked for me.....but I think I am going to start with The Last Song since it has been on my TBR the longest. If I can get it read this month, I may try to read one of the others next month.

I'll let you know how it goes.
