So, three days ago, I learned about Nextdoor from your comment; today, I got an invite (in my mailbox) to join one set up for this neighborhood.

I used to do that (which is why I have a "separated omnibuses" shelf). I wanted the number of books read to be reflected correctly. I have a minimum of four omnibuses slated for this year (including The Great Book of Amber); separating everything feels like too much trouble now. LOL So, I'll just let it be.

While I technically finished my first book of the new year of January 4th - Nine Princes in Amber, I am now officially on the GR board with my completion of the Vengeance in Death / Holiday in Death / Conspiracy in Death / Loyalty in Death / Witness in Death omnibus.

My page count is slightly exaggerated, though, as I only read two of the five stories this year.

I found #160 The Expanse: Origins!
This might be my last read of 2022.

I need to find one more title to close out the year. With the inclusion of the titles that I have read from the omnibuses on my "Currently Reading" shelf, the final title will make 160 reads for the year!

It looks nice! I was looking at one on Etsy yesterday as well. It was $10 and change. It looked overwhelming & intimidating!

GoodReads is my book journal. However, you both have me intrigued.

One of the things I've come to realize is that in my attempt not to add spoilers to my reviews, I am often vague to the point of having no idea what the book was about when I see the review again years later. I want to change that.

A journal will allow me to type out how I truly feel about my reading experiences.

I just watched a video for a free book journal, but it feels hella crowded and complicated. I would love one that would allow me to copy/paste or drag and drop a picture of the cover into it (without having to save the image first).

I'm probably going to obsess about this for a while now! LOL

Question: Is there a way to wipe the Kindle without deactivating it?

My kids surprised me with a Kindle Signature for Christmas, so I want to give my other one to my dad, He's not the most electronically savvy person, so I want to keep it active on my account and add books as needed.

What would you all advise?
