So I finished reading A Traitor's War late last night. Great entry in the Metaframe series. Better than the first book! And today, I completed the AOS Disroder stories.
The last two stories were okay. I feel indifferent towards both of them.
Now, I'm going to continue watching a series I started last week ( I think). Its a British police/forensics procedural called Silent Witness.
Interesting show, but horrible theme song (not suited to the show at all)!
Later today/tonight, I'm going to start reading Luna: New Moon.
Hi, Christa! :)I don't think the book page has changed on my browser yet. Or maybe, I just don't notice anything different.
I just completed Wintersteel a few minutes ago, and finished The Garden of Bewitchment on Friday.Up next are A Traitor's War (I read a few pages today) and Luna: New Moon,
I'm currently reading Wintersteel and The Garden of Bewitchment. Both are speculative fiction but on opposite ends of the spectrum. I'm finding that pairing a horror novel with something non-horror helps me get through the former. I want to test how audio plays a role but TGoB does not have an audiobook version.
My guess is if it is a simple narration, then that would be good, but if it's a full-on production (background/ambient noises and music) it will be just as bad for me as watching a horror movie - its usually the music that scares the bejesus out of me.
1. I am glad you are feeling better! 2. Whatever you end up doing, I hope you have a pleasant time and enjoy it.
I read the first 3 Rivers of London books a few years ago. I've been meaning to reread and continue the series. It's fantastic that you can tailor your reading to your comfort level. If I get too hot to read, I either watch TV or scroll on my phone instead.

Thank you! :D

Thank you, hon! :D
Today was my 200th reading day in a row!! :DI also completed my 97th title of the year, A Subtle Agency. It was pretty good - especially if you're in the mood for nonstop action.

So occasionally there is a gap where it doesn't update until a day has passed."Oooh! Okay. Still sucks that you lost it even though you read every day.
Aww, man!The Villa one is easy - pick a free first "episode" - done deal.
I'm surprised about the Oasis! I contacted Amazon directly, and they said my paperwhite should also update Insites. I tested it this morning, and it worked - it just takes a little longer to sync than the app.
And on my 177th reading day in a row, I have completed the Amazon Insights Spring Challenge earning all 16 of the achievement bookmarks. Yay, Me! :D
Yeah, I would see you at the top of my friends' list - Christa shelved as "also owned" LOL. I figured I couldn't participate in an honest-to-goodness TBR challenge without actually knowing what was there.
Plus, I forgot my mom had my old Kindle for a while. I think she scoured the earth for every free Christion Fiction historical, romance, and mystery book she could find!
So, I just spent the last week adding the 600 (give or take) titles floating around my Amazon account to my "Want to Read" shelf. I now have 972 unread titles (to which I currently have access).
I sent out one or two general updates along the way - does anyone actually see those? I didn't see them on my profile page.
There are another 150 titles that have been changed/moved/reissued that I would either need to borrow or repurchase to get the most updated version.
I also now have 500 titles on my wishlist; I seem to have downloaded quite a few installments for series where I do not have the first book (all freebies, of course).
At some point, I want to go back through and delete the titles that have vanished from Amazon altogether; but that's for another time.
*Watch me agonize over this and end up starting the process by the weekend.
As for now, I am behind on all my group and buddy reads, but I'm finally happy to know what is in my Kindle account.
Oh. Christa, you and I have downloaded a lot of the same books! LOL
Stephanie wrote: "May was not a big reading/listening month. I was catching up with some TV since I pay for Netflix and 2 Brit Channels. Still, I usually manage a couple of hours a day and didn't do that this month...."Some months are just that way. Mine was in March. I don't think I completed a single book, even though I read a few pages every day.
You'll get your reading groove back :)
