Megan - where do you find the color descriptions?

35559 I'm trying to see if any of the books I have lying around are orange enough, but tineye is calling many of them red, even though to me they seem more orange. Is there any leeway to say some of these "reds" are actually more orange-y?

35559 What are the attributes to Lord V that we're looking for? I haven't read those books so I'm unfamiliar with the character. I read the wiki page so I'm thinking a book with a spy or assassin. But I'm sure there's more than that.

35559 #18. Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate

Listened to this on audio and it worked well in that format. I enjoyed the flashback story, but found the present day secrecy hard to justify or understand. It felt like self-imposed drama, which is annoying. 3 stars

35559 some questions :)

Is the mini challenge once per month or do we just accomplish it once over the 3 months?

How do you decide which challenge prompt to use each title for?

Will you be moving titles around as we finish books? Or are they done once filled? For example, should I still be comparing books with the mods who have already been fulfilled and putting them as options in the spreadsheet? Or only worry about the spots that are still open?

I read multiple books at a time and then tend to finish them all pretty close to the same time. Should I wait to finish them before adding them to the spreadsheet or do you like to know what's coming?

ummm.... that might be it for today. lol...

35559 I've only read the first one. Definitely been meaning to read the rest of the series.

35559 I am on a computer so that's weird. I'll try again when I get home.

OMG it is so satisfying to remove so many books at once, isn't it?? I really need to go through some of my series and do that.

35559 I'm trying to compare my currently reading books to past mods, but I'm encountering two problems.

Sophie's name isn't a link.
Eldarwen's page gives me an error when I try and compare books.

Any suggestions for workarounds?

35559 Are there any particular tasks on the mini challenge we should be trying to meet first?

35559 I'm so excited! I finished two of three books yesterday to be able to start some fresh today. What do we do now?

I'm guessing we have to tag the books we're reading with our TT shelf, right? Anything else? Should we post them here when we're done?

35559 Finished #17: Echo by Pam Muñoz Ryan

I gave it 3 stars. It was interesting, but a little odd. The magical element was completely unnecessary.

I'm feeling the urge to just go through and ruthlessly delete everything off my TBR that I no longer feel strongly compelled to read.

35559 Me, too!! I'm trying to finish up the books I have in progress so I can start immediately.

35559 What percentage of the cover has to be the stated color? Is it more important to match the percentage numbers or the overall look? Like a cover that is light gray and white could look white, when in reality the gray is slightly higher in percentage.

35559 Okay here come the questions. I waited a whole day!! :D

Can someone explain the mini challenge to me? Are we doing every option or just one of them? How do you decide which book should count for which prompt if they work for more than one?

As for the spreadsheet, is it okay to enter books as we go or do I need to build a tbr ahead of time? I have some books that I know I will read but some I may decide in the moment. What happens if I read a book that we don't need? Can I still read it and just not put it on my TT bookshelf?

35559 Hi! I'm Tricia and I live in the suburbs of Seattle. This is my first time doing TT and I'm super excited. I have loads of questions, but I'll be patient. ;)

I discovered reading challenges just last year and did over a dozen. This year I pared back just a little and have already completed a couple of them in order to make room for doing a team challenge.

I love the variety of genres you get introduced to when doing challenges. I read a little bit of everything, often having multiple books on the go between my kindle, paper books from the library, and audio books.

35559 #16 Terrier (Beka Cooper, #1) by Tamora Pierce

My husband has been harassing me to read this since 2015. He really liked it, and he was right! I gave it 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5 on goodreads. It was fast paced, entertaining, nuanced, and the audio was a great experience.

35559 This is my first time. I committed to 12 even though I've been reading about double that. I figured this was a good strategy since some of what I read is graphic novels. I also figured that if I read more than I said, I just wouldn't count them towards tower teams. I would just consider them reads for me or my other challenges. Is that wrong?
