I have not moved in weeks! I have been completely distracted with books to finish other challenges now that the year is ending. And then the Read Harder Challenge for 2023 was announced and I've spent every day since researching books instead of reading any. lol

I'm finished!

I removed . I might add it back some day but I'm just not interested in reading it right now and since I added it back in 2014, I honestly don't think it's ever going to happen.

Then I finished reading . This was a book that really intimidated me, and it's been on my TBR since 2015. I'm glad I read it, even though it was heartbreaking! So that's a wrap on 2022. I will definitely do this challenge again next year.

Here's a couple more suggestions for you:

Removing from my list. I started it on audio, and just can't stay interested. I'm not in the right mindset, and after having on my TBR for 7 years, I don't think I ever will be.

DNF's at 80 pages or so. Just didn't like it. Gave it a good try. I read some of the reviews and can tell this book just isn't going to get better for me, so moving on!

Vaidehi- Soul Eater by Lily Mayne. It's mm, excellent first book in a series, and Danny is a virgin.

Finished my maze, finally! Took several wrong turns - one of which took me more than 20 books to get to the end and then back again. Phew! It was super fun, though.

I loved the show and really enjoyed first few books also! I think I'm up to #4 but got sidetracked.

Okay, knocked The Deal by Elle Kennedy off my list. I was enjoyed it as a simple summer romance until the 3rd quarter conflict. It was so predictable and annoying that this book dropped to 3 stars. I did still like it - great dialog and well written - but I no longer REALLY liked it.

It was probably a good strategy. I have found summer just turned into a guilty pleasure read-fest and it's been a struggle to read anything serious.

Why is this challenge so hard?? I have been through my list over and over again and I don't want to remove any of the titles that are left because I really do want to read them. And yet there is always something else that I want to read MORE. Ugh....
