Laura- not doing audio. Started it but then realized they were not narrating any of the pics or graphics so switched to paper.
What happens to any of the unfinished countries or foods? Do we get to submit partials or will you have to move everything around to finish what we can?

Question - On page 10 of the Wicker King, there's a picture of the main character's playlist, and it's lists a song by the Beatles. Would that count for "mentions the Beatles"? Or does someone have to say their name?

No worries laura! I'll put it somewhere else.

It's been so long since I put this on my TBR that I completely forgot it's premise. The cover kept me thinking it was just going to be some contemporary fiction. I really enjoyed it - reminded me of the Red Tent.
This was the last book on my 2020 TBR, so feeling really good about that. I had 9 books planned for my 2021 TBR and have read 3, so that just leaves me 6 books to go for this year's challenge.

The book I'm currently reading, Quicksilver, has butterflies on the cover which should count as wildlife on the cover for South Africa. Would you prefer me to move it there or leave it under the I in China?

Yeah I hated it. Read my review if you want. I'm on my phone so can't link to it. lol But I thought it was 300 pages of the MCs making themselves miserable with a 30 page wrap up. š¤£

Laura wrote: "Perfect! I hope you enjoy it. It was a book club read for me in July, but I wish I had read Not In Love first."I read Not in Love a while ago, so hopefully I remember enough.

I'm currently reading Problematic Summer Romance by Ali Hazelwood so I'll put it in there. š

I am thinking it because it must be considered a U. S. territory."It's unfortunate because the culture and descriptions are so unique, it feels like it should be a different country. ;)

I just finished The Lesson by Cadwell Turnbull. It's set completely in the Virgin Islands. Is this still considered part of the US? I don't see it on the countries list so I'm assuming so but wanted to double check.

I'm curious why we're not just putting everything in the food spell it outs. They're worth the same number of points as the country challenges and nobody would have to read a book they don't already want to. Do we get a bonus for completing a country?

If you end up needing a 5th, or a backup, I'm happy to participate. :)

Looks like that P ..."You can move Shield of Sparrows anywhere that's convenient!

I'll put in something else from my extra reads.

I will likely finish my last book sometime Sunday, and then will wait until the 17th to start again. :)
