I'm also not sure how to sign up for a Chipmunk task. I can enter my book in the spreadsheet, but the chipmunk mini page isn't linkable, so what should I put in the Mini Ref spot to make sure people know it's been tentatively "claimed" and not to worry about reading a book for that prompt?

What happens to all the extra books? Do they just not count towards our points?

Do we focus on this new mini challenge or on the spell it outs first?
Do we sign up for specific tasks for the June mini challenge? Or is it just first come first served?
If we do sign up, I have done a bit of research (because I'm a dork who stays up too late) and have great books on my TBR that would work for these tasks:
9 - my first choice, as it's a fast book I really want to read.
5 - my second choice, as it's a book I need for another challenge.
4 - also a book for another challenge, so happy to do this one also.
1 - have a good title for this, but have to see if I can get the book.
2/7/8 - I have one title for these, but it's 391 pages, so a bit chunky. But I'm willing. Might not have it done right on the 1st though.
Let me know where I can be the most help.

Both husband and son recommended, but the misogyny was not okay. I DNF'd it at 15% after confirming with them that of the enormous cast of FBI agents, police officers, hackers, and criminals, there is not a single woman in the entire book that isn't a prostitute or a whore.

I gave it 3 stars. It was interesting, but a bit slow. I figured out the puzzle by the 3/4 mark and was then a bit disappointed to find that there were no more twists or surprises at the end.

We’ll have 10 new 600+ page books for June, so if I can save them for ..."
If it helps at all, I have three 600+ books on my TBR for next month.

Any Questions? Favorite books read so far? Books you've hated and want to warn people away fro..."
Rebecca - I read the first in the series (the Cuckoo's Calling) and enjoyed it, but heard the books get crazy long as the series goes on so props to you for sticking it out. :D
I also really loved Things You Save in a Fire. I will push How to Walk Away up my TBR. I've been meaning to do it. Have you read The Bodyguard? I thought it was hilarious.

Just to confirm, we don't have to complete the Mod Tower or Rainbow Tower this month, right? So if I move those books off until next month I won't mess anything up?
I'm currently halfway through the Fine Print, which is 400+. I grabbed it off the library shelf because I'd heard about it. It's absolutely drivel, but I'm halfway through so will push on since it will help the team. ;)

I gave this 3 stars. I enjoyed parts of it a lot, and other parts were a little disjointed. I think the MC was my least favorite of everybody, which is so disappointing when it's the only woman in the cast, but I thought she was immature and whiny. I also couldn't get past her immediate infidelity, which she gave absolutely no weight to, or even tried to rationalize beyond some "separate lives" bullshit. So while I enjoyed parts of the story, I don't plan to continue the series.

Did you like it? It's on my TBR but I'm waiting for my library copy. I'm still like 500th in line or something ridiculous!
As for the entry, I think you missed the E for Emily in the Spell Out column. I added it for you. I also threw in pink into the color column, just in case the captains want to move it around later if needed. It's such a great pink cover!

Alone With You in the Ether isn't showing up anywhere. I put it down as blue for the rainbow tower, and there are already other books there. An alternative location could be blue in another rainbow tower, or it could be used for spell it out.
The Crane Husband could go in WT47 Elektra as it's a retelling of a japanese folk tale, or WT05 as it starts with a C.
