35559 Sorry!!! I'm pretty new to book challenges and was just trying to help.

35559 So when the prompt says first page it means essentially the second page. Not the page directly on the book's main page, but the first page where it lists all the book's tags. As long as Started is listed somewhere on that main tag page, it counts.

The higher the book is on the search list, the more likely the tag will be on the first page.

Yeah exactly. I was on my phone and couldn't do it easily, so thanks for posting that for Alysa. Hopefully that helps!

35559 Do you know how to easily search for that tag?

35559 I just finished Normal People last week. I also rated it 3.5 stars. Some parts were excellent. I didn't like the ending. I plan to read one more Sally Rooney at some point.

35559 Finished The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath which has been on my list since 2015. I gave it 3 stars - didn't love it but it was interesting. Glad to have finally read it.

35559 Finished #9 on my list: One Second After (After, #1) by William R. Forstchen

I didn't love this book. I gave it 2 stars. I think the concept of a post-EMP country was probably more unique when he wrote it in 2009, but I didn't think that at this point it had anything special to say.

I've read over 75 books so far this year, but so many of them were newly added and I keep adding more that I feel like my TBR is going in the wrong direction. LOL... And I'm struggling with reading these older titles because there are just so many new books all the time that pull my interest more.

35559 The posts at the top mentioned this issue and said you should read a book with the author last name of B and make the title work for the direction you want.

35559 Can we use Series Titles for these tasks? I'm having the hardest time finding a book title that spells out Scrabble.

It is so much fun! I'm doing 12 challenges at the moment, and this is my favorite!!

If you want to move in a particular direction, you must complete the correct requirements. So if you want to move South, the title of the book you read needs to start with the second half of the alphabet. If you want to move east or west, title doesn't matter, but number of pages does. Does that help?

And if it starts with A, An, or The, you can use those as the first letter or not, depending on what helps you out. Up to you!

I will check out the Water Keeper. I also found a few others but none available at my library at the moment. I was hoping to make it easy, but it just doesn't always work out. ;)

Oh awesome! Thanks!! One on the left came up all blue - no green at all! The one on the right came up about 45% green but it turned out it was filtering out the main background color. Once I added that in, it was pretty much blue. So the hunt continues! ;)

35559 What do you guys think? Is it green or blue? I'm having the hardest time with teal books! lol
