I enjoyed it quite a bit! It took several turns I wasn't expecting. I don't really think I'll read the rest of the series though. I feel satisfied with the way this one ended.

This challenge is totally depressing! lol... I did great for the early releases this year, but it's too hard to get to new releases at the end of the year as a person who gets all their books from the library. I'm definitely not going to complete this challenge! :(

I'm 40% of the way through my last book. I think I'll make it. I'm kicking myself for having left it this late. Next year I'm going to finish this challenge before summer!!

How do you find out about new challenges and discussions you do want to be a part of, though? I am afraid if I turn off all notifications and emails, then I'll miss out when they announce something new.

Love this challenge! It really helps me get through all those old books that are lingering. In 2023, I read everything on my TBR from 2015 - 2018. I started out with 30 titles. I read 22 of them, although I DNF'd 4 of those. I deleted 8.

My goal for 2024 is to read everything on my TBR from 2019 and 2020, which is 20 titles.

Question about handling notifications - I have digest only checked for this group, but it still is an overwhelming amount of info in the emails as it includes all the teams, all the challenges, etc. I tried switching to notifications, but I still have to go through and "uncheck" every group I don't want to hear about, and as this group is constantly adding new challenges, it's still a lot.

Is there a way to only get notifications for the challenges I'm actually a part of? I feel like I'm missing something.

I enjoyed this one last year, although I didn't pick my books ahead of time. I generated a number, read the book, and then generated a new number. I really liked the spontaneity of that.

I have ONE book left and have gotten completely sidetracked by all the book challenge announcements that happened this week. lol

#29 -

3 stars - This is my second to last book of the year so I'm super excited. This was an interesting tale about the breakdown of society and human decency when an outbreak of blindness takes over the area. I felt like it was good, but didn't offer anything particularly new to the conversation. I can read enemies to lovers over and over and over again, but I need my social commentary to be new and fresh. lol... Clearly a double standard!

My last book for this challenge is Scythe and I've been putting it off because I feel like I'll be compelled to read the whole trilogy after reading the first book, so it feels more like 3 books left.

I'm super new to these challenges - did TT for the first time this year. Can someone explain to me how these monster wheels work? I see the wheel and spin it but don't understand what to do next. I've read the starting posts but clearly I'm missing something.

How do I learn about the different team challenges? I did Tower Teams this year for the first time and really enjoyed it, but I see people talking about Uno, Monster Wheel, and other team challenges and am super confused about how they work.

This was my first tower teams and I had a blast. I can't believe how many more books i read than i expected! I'll be honest - I'm a little burned out. Time to catch up on all the TV shows I neglected. ;) Thanks to the captains!
