Tomorrow I'll read my weird word book, and then see what needs finishing -- maybe a vampire book to finish the weird word card or a GOODREADS choice award book or work on the Triangle book.

We're officially at Warrior Level 6 now! Tough Team Tapirs!

Our current plan is to alternate XP level and weapon level, so we'll finish up the next weapon level, then back to getting XP.
Our current cards would give us 35 (minus the 3 we need to level up). I'm hoping we get some monsters again for more fast XP. We're close to finishing one 10 pointer, and the other one is straightforward (if lengthy). Go Tapirs!

Carmen, Moonlight and Paula, you guys have the other books for Weapon Level 9. Carmen, I know you are reading that thousand pager -- do you want someone to pick up your book series # 4? Or do you like having something to switch around with? Moonlight and Paula, are you enjoying your books for #8 and #9? Speak now if you want to dump them!
I will put my weird word book on top of my nightstand and go to sleep.

We don't have any other #7s to replace it.
I don't remember the PRIME card being that hard last time around -- didn't we have extras (which have been used elsewhere)?

Hope you feel better soon, Carmen. Migraines are awful!

So we turn our attention back to our weapon level 9, where we only need 3 more books. Carmen, Moonlight and Paula, are you all good there?
Power to the Tapirs! No Plush Zombie can stop us!

I filled in the SS for you (so check it -- beware my curse!) with "The place is an important theme (fire threatens ancient ritual spot)" as reason it fits.
A book club book for me is all about a young girl figuring out how to live the life she wants, so I'm putting that in for "Acceptability - the quality or state of meeting one's needs adequately" -- that's basically the theme of the book -- meeting one's needs both physically and emotionally.

Ubiety - the quality or state of being in a place?

Any other ideas for ways to fill that card?
Anyway, we want to get 17 points, and then we'll go look at the weapons page again, which I think has been cooking nicely.
I'm also hoping that we get a monster when we turn in the idiom card, because we don't mind getting hurt (as long as we don't die) since we are so close to leveling up and getting a full heal. In fact, I warn our captains to be chintzy with the heal potions during a fight, remembering that we always hit first and we only need 1 hit point at the end. Of course, it's better to waste heal potions than to miscount and die! Expiring is very inconvenient.

And I'm reading the recipes, so I think we are OK.

See that cemetery in the book cover? One of the graves has a cross on it, which is a religious symbol.

CARD 1
Read a book where the plot, a main character, or other large aspect of the book reflects the words definition.
Tasks:
•Ubiety - the quality or state of being in a place: travel book? book about somebody trying to get somewhere, or being stuck in their home town?
•Perpetuity - the state or quality of lasting forever: a romance where someone finds True Love?
•Palatability - the property of being acceptable to the mouth: cook book!
•Acceptability - the quality or state of meeting one's needs adequately: wilderness survival story? any survival story?
•Isotropic - having a physical property that has the same value when measured in different directions
•Uniformity - always the same, as in character or degree; unvarying: a series where the main character doesn't change (Agatha Christie book, for ex.), or a book about identical twins (someone should read a Sweet Valley high book for a two-fer!)
•Adaptability - capable of being adapted: book where someone is ingenious, or becomes a shapeshifter

My spreadsheet curse strikes again! Sorry...

It's up to Carmen. I am avoiding classics and giant books, so I can't help there, but Rachael Ray is fun to read and recipe books are quick, especially if I'm not hunting for ideas for dinner.
