Just finished What Alice Forgot. Another enjoyable, entertaining read by Liane Moriarty. I'll add it to Read thread to go into the bank.
Lauri, hope the bad weather passes you by and you keep your power so you can read to your heart's content. I love it when there's a storm of some sort and I can smell my crockpot meal simmering away!
Amanda is reading a book for the TV square, so we're set for that. I'm sure your book will be used for a future square, Jennifer. :)
Jennifer, your square was to read a book that was made into TV, not movie. Can you or someone else read something quick that has been made into TV?
Not again! That shark is going to get food poisoning! That makes two books he's eaten and neither one was very good. Even listening to it was tedious. Glad you found something to replace it.

Snow leopard square because the book is about a zoo and snow leopards are found in zoos. Also, this zoo has endangered animals and the snow leopard is endangered. The snow leopard is found in Russia and part of the story involves Russia.
Hooray for you, Margaret! I can totally relate, since I'm not a speedy reader either. In RL yes, but compared to all our super readers here, no way!
Lauri, please don't get discouraged about not getting to read for a new square. I know it's fun to get a square to complete, but those banked books are filling squares too. Next time if I get one and you don't, I'll give you mine! Mwah! <3
Not sure priest and Jesus are a close enough connection. Anybody see a book they would like to read from that team shelf? I'm on my phone (traveling again!) but I think that would give us more options.
Laura, I'm listening to The Zookeepers Wife. The snow leopard works because it's endangered and they have endangered animals in the zoo. Also the snow leopard lived in Russia and even though the zoo is in Poland, some of the story takes place in Russia. Is that a strong enough connection?

I finally finished
, which I'll add to the Read thread. I'm sure it will work for a lot of squares in the future. It was laugh out loud funny, except for some rough parts for animal lovers.
