My book for the relay, Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me just came in at my library and I was able to run right out and pick it up, so starting it now. It should read fast.Margaret hope you had fun with your grandchildren. You sound like me, loving to spoil them! Saturday I will be with my daughter's family at Great Wolf Lodge celebrating our grandson's 6th birthday. Time to read on the drive, but no time once I'm there!
Maritza and Alissa, you have saved us! Hooray for being heroes! Let's all get our committed books read team. We're doing great and entering the home stretch!

Thanks, Maritza! That would be awesome. I checked at the library today and my book is still in transition from another branch. Really hoping it will come in tomorrow!
Sounds good, Laura. I will read the book for the title relay with Maritza and Cecily. I too hope Megan and Cindy are able to check in soon. We've got a lot to read in the final hours!
I should be able to finish it by then. Would you rather I read #11 or #12 in a series? I haven't looked yet, but I'm sure I could find something. I'll do whatever you think makes the most sense.
Laura, I have requested from my library Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me to follow Maritza's book, White Lies. It should be in by Oct 6. When would I need to have it finished?

I'm working on my series #4 book! I should finish tomorrow night."
It was phenomenal and a big hit! The book was The Coincidence of Coconut Cake. The recipe is in the back of the book.
Laura wrote: "Yes Nanci, that word count is good!!"Hooray! Thanks, Laura. Finishing making a coconut cake for one of my RL book clubs tonight and then hope to get started on it.

I am starting my title relay #6 in a series today reading The Ersatz Elevator. It is rated as 6th grade reading level. It's a smaller book, so I checked the word count which is 39,933 words. Is that acceptable?

Whopee! I just picked up my new laptop. It is so light and fast! I think I'm in love. Finished reading
and will add it to banked books. It will be perfect if we ever need a yellow cover, or dog on cover.Quiet on the thread today. Hope everyone is having a good Monday!
Afraid I'm not going to be much help on Labor 32. The only possibility was an owl on the cover and I haven't seen anything that remotely interests me yet for that. I'm picking up my series book today at the library and I'll just read that for now. Finishing up The Girls for a banked book.

It would be a really fast read, but maybe too fast for the rules. How d..."Ok, then. I won't read Love That Dog for that title relay. If someone comes up with something that works for me, I'll ask to join. I looked at relaying with yours Rachel, but nothing works.
Here's another possibility for the Fighting Love>>>Love that Dog relay.Dog with a Bone>>>Bone Gap>>>Gap Creek
