I'm in the same boat as Alissa and Margaret. I will be reading some of my longer books, as I also love historical fiction. I probably still chose to read some pretty long books during this challenge, until I realized it was just stressing me out too much trying to read them fast. I have never read this much, ever! The challenge lasting so long has been a challenge for sure, but it definitely got my count up. My goal was 75 books by end of year and I'm almost at 100 now. Crazy!! I really love to savor my books and I have felt a bit rushed at times, so I'm going to take time to slow down and savor. Congrats to Laura, Cecily and all others who have surpassed their goals!!

your Hit Six title is a good choice now!"Good. I'm about 1/3 done.

Wow! That is impressive! I have never been on a team that finished in first place before (well, a tie for 1st)! Way to go team! We get a gold star for perseverance!

Laura,
I have two choices I could start reading today. One is
. I have the large print version so the publish date is:
Published October 5th 2016 by Thorndike Press (first published July 26th 2016), so that would work for another 2016 publish task if we need that.
The other choice is
, which would work for #6 in a series. It sounds like we need that to complete level 8, so I'm going to start it now and check back with the thread after a bit. If you need me to read Option 1 instead, I'll switch.

I think you should surprise your husband and start it up again! We've been married 37 years. When we had little kids and careers we had a rule that we couldn't talk about kids or work on date night. Now that was a challenge!

Finished my "first published in 2016" book and added it to the READ thread.

The Girl on the Train, which I read in March of 2015. From what I recall, the movie was almost identical to the book. Think I actually liked the movie more.

Looks like clothing to me, unless they mean clothing without a person wearing them! ;)

Here's another one that's in my stack to read:
The Woman in Cabin 10. It has this as a published date:
Published July 19th 2016 by Gallery/Scout Press (first published June 30th 2016)
Cecily wrote: "commas are important lol
if Nancy's works, should the clothing one be a dress? lol"Ha! We need a few with publish dates of 2016, so we could use both of ours eventually.

Laura,
I just realized that I'm reading the other edition of
First Comes Love, because the one I'm reading is the large print. This edition is listed with this published date:
Published July 6th 2016 by Thorndike Press (first published June 28th 2016) Does that work for 2016 then?

Finished
Anne's House of Dreams and added to the READ thread for #5 in series. Starting the book published in 2016. Anything particular we really need after that? Hoping to finish this next one by Monday night.
