35559 Alissa, I love our Imelda Nadia Eagle!

Lauri, I'm confused about this game too, but grateful for team mates who understand it well enough to help with strategy. Maybe I'll "get it" in another week or two. Ha! I think it we just all read as much as we can each book will fit. There's a big variety of tasks!

Ha! I can't believe my guess was correct!

35559 I don't understand what we do for Card 2??

Is card 4 like a title relay, except we only have to match 3 of the letters? Do they mean that if book one on the ladder ends with the word "love" then the next ladder book the title could start with "over" for example, so they both have the letters o-v-e?

35559 Is there a picture anywhere of what our Hero looks like? How do we know it's a "she"? Cecily, like the names. :)

35559 Started Anne's House of Dreams yesterday, but not making much headway. I thought it would be fast since it's only 227pages, but the font is super small. Ugh. I'll keep working on it. So much to read! Wish I had the time to read more and faster. So many good options for reading. I have a lot that work, but just can't read that fast.

35559 Finally my Anne of Green Gables series book came into my library. I will pick it up tonight. While I'm waiting I will be reading another Lemony Snicket book, The Miserable Mill for #4 in a series. Those read really fast, so thought I'd knock out another quick one!

35559 It was just "ok" for me. Not really my kind of book, but it was fun and a fast read so good for a challenge.

Ok, I'll read it after I finish my two series books that I've committed to read. Glad others were able to fill in and complete the card, so we could get our new one. Wow, there is tons to read for during this part of the challenge! Loving all the variety!

35559 ooh, I just saw that Cecily and Rachel posted READ books that have directions in them, so if you used those then we only need one more and that task would be complete. I'll start reading Hot Six now until I hear from you. If we don't use if for the direction task, it could always be used for the series task.

35559 Laura,
I picked up Hot Six (Stephanie Plum, #6) by Janet Evanovich , which I thought I could read later for #6 in series. I just checked and it does have the words, east, west and south in the text. Would you rather I read that now and use it for that instead of a series book? It would mean I'd be putting off reading my series books until I finish it, but I think it will read pretty fast.
