35559 Laura, I was planning on reading The Underground Railroad next. In spell it out, we can omit articles, right? If so, we could use this for the "u" in "blue" and save the travel agent book for something else, if you'd rather.

Such a relief to hear from you, Cindy. I was concerned about you. Sorry you've had such serious health problems. I will definitely keep you in my prayers and thoughts that it's all behind you now. So glad you were a part of our team!

35559 I started The Woman in Cabin 10 last night after I got my grandson to bed. So far it is really good! If I can find the time to read today, between taking care of a 2 1/2 year old and visiting new baby, I think I will be hooked and it will read fast! Happy Saturday everyone!

35559 Glad you're feeling better, Maritza. Every now and again, a day spent in bed reading and watching movies is a good thing.
I know what you mean...I'm going to miss everyone too!

@Cecily,
Amanda will be around to update the spreadsheet."

Yes, grateful that Amanda can update the spreadsheets. I wouldn't know what was the best strategy for this game.

Also, I am leaving on Monday now for a week for a family reunion in Florida. My husband was going alone, as I was waiting for the new baby to be born, but now that she's here he really wants me to go with him. Taking lots of books with me and my ipad which has tons on it too!

35559 Thanks, Maritza and omgosh, so sorry you've got to deal with migraine. My husband used to suffer from those when he was younger. Not fun at all. Feel better soon!

35559 Thanks, all! Woke up early thinking about our new, baby granddaughter. :)

Finished my "I" book in the spell out of "triangle". Again, I believe one of you also read, The Invisible Life of Ivan Isaenko and recommended it. Love getting all these great recommendations from my team mates!

35559 Hi team!
What a day! Our 5th grandbaby was born today! Baby Nataly is healthy and adorable, Mom is feeling great, and Dad (our son) is thrilled! So much fun cuddling with a newborn again. We are very thankful that all is well!

35559 I should finish my current book in the next day or so. I can take the "r" by reading The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware . The author's first name is Ruth.

35559 Team,
I know our time is drawing to an end, but I just want to say how much I've enjoyed getting to know each of you during this challenge. We have been through so much together...change in jobs, floods, fires, health issues, loss of pet, new puppy, rescue on water by the fire department, travels, birthdays, and so much more. Someone could write a book just about our team! :) We are diverse with many interests, backgrounds and family situations, but our love for reading has bound us together for this space in time and I have had fun getting to know you all a bit.

A big shout out to Laura for being such a dedicated captain! You have done a phenomenal job keeping up with the spreadsheets and motivating all of us. I know you enjoy it all, but still it takes lots and lots of time and I thank you for your dedication and keeping us all straight!

I was concerned about you, Jennifer, but just thought you were busy reading and RL. Hoping everything went well and that your healing is coming along. You are an amazing person the way you take everything in stride!

35559 Hooray, Karen! We're working off that Triangle spell out. Anyone up for reading a book with the word triangle in the title? I was just looking and there are lots of books that qualify.

35559 I finished Hot Six for #6 in a series and added it to the READ thread.
Today I will start The Invisible Life of Ivan Isaenko by Scott Stambach . I'm excited to start it! I've heard many good things about it. What a change it will be from Hot Six, which was light and a bit goofy!
