I just finished Glinda of Oz which concludes the Oz series. It is such a sense of achievment to finish such a long series. Now I need to get on and finish some of those other series I have started.

Also, I have just reached a total of 2000 books read which I did not expect to reach so soon!

I began listening to this again and now I have reached part 2. I am still determined to finish it this year and now that I've finished some other books I was listening to, this will be my main focus.

I have just checked my TBR list and I am very happy to see that my list of books adding in 2012 when I joined has gone down to around 150. I believe it was hovering around 200 at the beginning of the year. At lot of those books are classics as I basically added every book I had heard of when I joined Goodreads.
Now that I listen to audiobooks, I try to mostly listen to classics so I can get them off the list. I guess it is working.
I thought it would take me at least 10 years to finish all those books added in 2012, but if I keep this up, I might manage it in another 2 or 3.

This challenge is always a big help and it is one of my favourites. I always look forward to the next year so I can make my list (I like making lists).

I finished The Scarecrow of Oz on one of my flights today. I don't know when I'll be able to access the spreadsheet, so to avoid me forgetting to tick it off, could someone do it for me please :)

I reached 60 books read for this challenge this year which was my goal so now I have changed my goal for the third time this year to 80.
My TBR list is also 100 less than at the beginning of this year.

Just to update you all, I am going to be beginning my adventure to Norway on Wednesday. I am planning to stay there for just over 2 months to not only spend some time with my boyfriend and his family but also to try and look for work and see what my options are.
I plan to finish 2 books before I go and then Wednesday day will be pretty much a whole day of travel so hopefully I will manage to get quite a bit of reading done. I am going to stay in a hotel Wednesday night before getting a very short flight the next morning to my boyfriend's town. The travel doesn't usually take so long, but obviously because of the current situation in the world, options are more limited.

To cut a long story short, I should get quite a lot of reading done this week.

I went ahead and changed the task to insects to make things easier.

When I looked up where Mexico would be included, it told me Central America. But if we're not sure then I can find another task that works for it.

I could change it to insects as there are bee's on the cover (I'm pretty sure bees are insects). Otherwise I'll just use it for a yellow cover.

This is further than I made it last year and I am hoping to finish this level too this year.

@Louise, I'm so sorry to hear your news, I can't imagine how you are feeling.


I am now back from my trip away and despite what I had hoped, I didn't read as much as I had planned. But now I am back I hope to get quite a bit read.

I finished Circe today. If someone could update the spreadsheet for me, I would be grateful as my phone won't let me :)

I am going away tomorrow until Saturday. I will not have access to internet unless I use data on my phone so I will be unable to update the spreadsheet.
I hope to finish the two books I have already started and maybe even a third as we will be spending at least one day on the beach.
I will make sure all the information is added to the spreadsheet tonight.

Just to give you all an update, I finished one of my books earlier and I'm on track to finish 2 or maybe 3 by the end of the week.

I've had a lot going on the past couple of weeks so I fell behind a little on my reading, but now I've sorted out a lot of it so I should have more free time to focus on reading.

Most of the books I'm reading or planning to read don't seem to work for U, but you guys seem to be on top of them so I'll just carry on as I am for now.

I finished my 49th book for this challenge this year . I'm determined to finish the Oz books this year, which would mean another 7 books off my list from where it is now.

My TBR list is down to 816 from 906 at the beginning of the year so I almost got it down by 100 in the first half of the year (some of the books I deleted or were too recently added that I don't include them for this challenge or are part of a manga series which would just make my list waaay too long if I included all of them).
My ideal goal is to get down to 700, but that may be a little ambitious. As long as I get it below 750, I'll be happy.

I am hoping to finish The Dead of Night either today or tomorrow and I will finish The Opal Deception by friday.
I'm also intending to squeeze another audiobook in for this round
