Evee’s comments from the The World I Want to Create *Roleplaying* group.

Danny wakes up and sees Taylor in a weird position unconscious. Derey and Ethan are talking and Rose shows up. Trouble rears its ugly head and they start leaving. They camp and scout the area with no one in sight.

Naomi is looking at signs beside a volcano. She realizes that the signs are saying that this was a forced eruption and she realizes that this might mean the return of a terrible enemy. She says "I need to return the children, even if it means doing it by force."

Danny with the bird and Taylor discover an orange gem in the hole they are in.

Rose's stone starts to vibrate. Rose wanders around and stumbles onto Taylor still unconscious in the pit.

Ethan and Derey are talking about how Derey is worried about ending up like the previous owner of her stone. Ethan says sometimes it's alright to cry and Derey shows him why she cries. Ethan asks her why she didn't leave and go to an orphanage. She tells him she was afraid no one would like her. Ethan says we like you.

A mysterious wind bids Rose to move towards the unconscious Taylor Ethan and Derey show up and Ethan sees that Taylor was holding something. The wind stops him from checking out her hand and leads him to what she was writing. It writes Beware the Bloodstone. Find the surv. . . After he reads it the wind allows him to pick up the stone. A silver shard falls out of her hand. When he picks it up he sees Taylor's spirit which had been messing with the wind. She shows them a vision of Belenos on a bird diving towards her.
Just that moment Naomi shows up on a giant stone turtle. She examines Taylor and then bluntly asks for the shard. When she sees Taylor she becomes even more forceful in convincing them to leave. She tells them that Taylor got it lucky and the others that went through what she did died. "He's taken his first stone and the longer you are here the more chance he has of taking the others." She starts to shake saying, "I don't want to watch any more people die." Derey says that she doesn't either and that's why she's determined to fight. Naomi says that they don't stand a chance and that the only reason Taylor survived was because she had the power to manipulate essences. Derey asks for Naomi to train them then. Naomi is skeptical and tells them that the giant they faced was one of the previous stone holder, put under the control of a great evil. Derey asks her to let her prove herself then. Naomi agrees but only on two conditions, one, if she looses they all leave and two, she cannot use the power of the stone. Derey agrees and Naomi tells her her to go to the mountains and search for a man named Gabriel and to give him a flute. They leave.

As Derey gets higher into the mountains it gets colder and more wet. Derey hits into something wet, and sticky. . .

Ethan tries to get onto a horse but it bucks him off.

Derey sees that her hand is now attached to a strand of sticky web and now 6 red eyes peer out at her from the giant web. Derey grabs a nearby branch and tells the spider she's not going down without a fight. The spider moves near her and starts to cough up a long needle. Derey swears and takes a swing at it. The needle hits her and she starts to go numb. Derey tries not to panic. A sharp whistle stops the spider and Derey looses consciousness. Later she wakes up inside a cabin. She checks to see if she still has the flute and then goes outside.

Naomi comments on the bad weather to Ethan and how it will mean trouble for Gabriel, "They might get out."

When Derey gets outside she sees a man with golden hair and a childish face chopping wood. He smiles and says, "You're awake, and from the looks of it your feeling better?" They introduce each other. The man is Gabriel and Derey tells him what Naomi sent her for. She gives Gabriel the flute and he comments on how Naomi is a tricky woman and that she stole the flute from him. He starts leading her somewhere and talks along the way saying that he is here to make sure she gets a fair trial. He tells her that she needs to ask more questions, "The more you know the less uncertainty." Derey asks Gabriel why Naomi tested only her. He tells her that the others probably went though a different test already. Derey is worried that Naomi doesn't trust her because she is the holder of the black Opal.

An old Italian lived alone in New Jersey. He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very difficult work, as the ground was hard.



His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:


Dear Vincent,


I am feeling pretty sad, because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be over.. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like in the old days.

Love, Papa




A few days later he received a letter from his son.


Dear Pop,

Don't dig up that garden. That's where the bodies are buried...

At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son.



Dear Pop,

Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances.

She slashed out at her and then quickly moved back. "Well, don't we have a quick temper." she grinned and moved to the stone tomb, "Too bad your not as quick as that temper." she reached inside.

A door opened and a figure stood in the doorway, it was Naomi.

Naomi panted her eyes firmly on her opponent. She glanced at the sky. This was taking too long, night had already set in. "It doesn't need to be this way Aigus. We can give you a second chance if your willing to take it. We don't need to fight!"

Aigus stood there silently. Then he spoke, "I cannot allow anyone to stand in the way of the waking." He lifted his staff and pulled it apart slowly pulling out a long thin sword. "You who has stopped the waking once before must die."

The girl from the forest dodged, giggling. She stopped and lifted her long claws, "Well Dear? Ready to die now?"

"BOOO!" shreaked a voice.

Eventually she reached the bottom and came to a room. Shelves and shelves of age old tombs surrounded on cirlce shaped indentation in the floor. The stone was completely black, like it had been freshly scorched and in the center of the circle was an empty stone coffin, riddled with inscription.

Stale air drifted up to her, telling her that no one moved and that the stairs spiraled far down, filled with dust. Every few feet, glaring like a red eye, sat a torch on the wall.

Silence hung in the air like death itself. That's when she noticed it. In the center of the room there was a stone slab pulled off a hole, and in the hole were stairs leading down. Coming from below was torchlight.

Taylor took a deep breath and felt the solid rock above her. Focusing on what she'd learned she sent herself up through the rock, bit by bit. She grit her teeth, this was taking too long and she was running on limited time. She had to get out of here soon. Not just for herself but for the others. The other warriors were making a mistake. She'd touched Belenos just a moment before she'd blacked out and she's seen it. She had to get out of here and find them soon or the worst would happen, starting with the death of the guardian.

An enormous cavern spread out before her. As she took steps inside her footsteps echoes emptily. In the center of the floor was a coffin, empty.

And then she started to smell it. The air was filled with a rotten smell, the smell of death. In front of her stood an entrance, a hole that could barely fit someone her size. The hole's smiling shape mocked her.

The air was cold, she could almost see her breath in it and as she climbed deeper into the darkness the temperature only dropped.

Things went a grimy gray and then started to lighten. Behind her there was a steep mountainside with spiders crawling all over it. In front of her was a dark bleak hole. Though there was still light in the sky it seemed as if not a ray dared stray near the entrance.

He bowed once again, "As you command." the air started to heat and the forest stretched tall around them and started to run, like a watery painting. "One last thing." Came the goblin's voice out of nowhere. "I can get you to the cave entrance and back once you reach your friend but remember as a sealed goblin my limit is two. . . so whatever happens in between is your problem."
