Naomi gave her a sharp look, "Enough of that silly fiddle faddle my name is Naomi so call me by it."

((A series of events have happened. A strong enemy has shown up and the person Naomi sent Derey to be tested by nearly died. Now, Naomi has finally agreed to train you two, plus her grandson who might or might not be a stone holder. Please comment Ethan!))

Naomi sighed a bit, "Driden's not a bad kid. He's just a bit over-enthusiastic." she motioned towards Derey, "Let's get going."

((Hey I saw you were in RPworld. There's this Apocolypse RP that I joined that looked interesting. Wanna try it out?))

Naomi closed her eyes and gave a sigh of disdain, "Apparently he was caught participating in a fight one too many times, and he injured someone."

Naomi nodded, "Let's go. We'll be passing the stocks to pick up Driden and then we'll be leaving the city."

Naomi stopped and turned back to her, "I'm not going to soften up anything for you Derey. He nearly died. The shard that we were using to talk to Taylor stopped working." she turned back, "Luckily I was able to find a stone used by the previous Ruby holder and do the essence work myself." Naomi's eyes hardened, "He may be better but he's far from recovered." she turned away, "He definitely won't be guarding that pass any time soon."

"I couldn't find Ethan so when he wants to he can join us. We'll be heading to a place I know." she motioned to pack. "This is yours. While we are out there you will carry your share of food and do your share of work besides your training. You will be responsible for your water and food so keep on your feet and pay attention." she finished and then in almost an afterthought, "Driden will be coming with us."

Naomi stood in the doorway, "Ready?"

((I know how that feels. My dog tries to give me the same chance for exercise every time I open the door.))

Naomi explains that Gabriel has limited time and that they need to get him to the capital as quickly as they could . . .but Naomi had to go to the tomb. She tells Derey to go with him and they argue. Finally Derey agrees to go with Gabriel. They are just about to leave when something pulls Naomi into the ground. There is a rumble and two figure shoot up out from the dirt. Naomi. . .and the dark cloaked figure. Naomi tells Derey to leave. She does and as she and her opponent fight Naomi explains that Aigus was her apprentice and that he turned to the darkness, forcing her to seal him away. She feels a bit of fear at the strange new strength that Aigus seems to possess.
Meanwhile Derey was on the turtle moving towards the capital. With a crash something stopped them. In front of them stood a jester girl with long, sharp nails. "Didn't think I'd let you get away dear?" The woman moves fast and in the blink of an eye is behind Derey. Derey nearly gets her but the woman takes Gabriel. She reappears without Gabriel and tells Derey to come to the tomb or Gabriel will die. Then she is gone.
Naomi is hiding from Aigus and she knows that she can't last much longer. She takes off her veil, places a white stone inside it along with Derey's stone and then cast a spell on it and throws it.
Somewhere else Derey is trying to find Naomi and the stones wrapped in Naomi's veil find her.
In the darkness Taylor wakes up in a stone coffin deep beneath the ground. She starts to panic a little at the small place. Then she tells herself that she needs to calm down and that she will get out.
Derey finds the two stones and a voice comes out of the white one telling her not to do anything stupid with her stone. Derey tells what happened and a figure pops out of the stone. A chaos Imp, so? . . .what'cha gonna do about it? he says. 672-700

((A few days later when she is up to full health?))

She clucked and chuckled a bit, "Just my job."

She nodded, "Naomi's been through a lot but it hasn't been all that bad. Naomi's changed a lot since then. At first because of all that had happened she would shut herself up a lot but once Driden got older she's had her hands full with him." the nurse started looking out the window at the sun. "Well I've been here too long already. I should get going."

"His name was Aigus. . .and he tried to resurrect the monster that Naomi sealed 100 years ago. She was forced to seal him also."

She leaned a little against the doorway, "It doesn't help that Naomi is his Grandmother. He always feels the need to prove himself, especially after what his father did."

She smiled, "I worry about you children. Especially that knuckle head Driden. He means well but, just doesn't know how to interact."

The dark cloaked figure known as Aigus stood over an unconscious girl. Lightly, he gripped a pearl in his hand. In the shadows of the darkness stood a dark skinned, long haired man, Belenos. He turned to him, "Clean this up." then he moved away into the depths of the shadows.

The nurse smiled a sad little smile, "These days you never know what's going to be happening out there. It's not just the old enemies we have to worry about anymore." she turned to Derey, "It's a pity that children like you have to see days like this."

The nurse looked worried, "What's wrong? Are you feeling bad anywhere?"
