He just allowed his grin to widen and bowed mockingly, "Utterly disgusted to meet you. I'm Rather-Fellow, the goblin of the stone." an annoyed look flickered across his face, "Oh, and by the way as the holder of the stone you are entitled to a little, well help from me and such fiddle faddle." he stopped an interested gleam settling into his eye, "So what'll it be? Want me to get you to your friend. I can even get him instantly to help."

As she moved the Gnome floated at the same pace. He didn't even blink. "Unfortunately I was sealed into the stone by some essence user." He brightened up, "But then you could throw me away." he floated nearer his hands under his chin and his legs vertical him. "That would be very lovely. I can just think of the mischief I could play." He grinned showing his teeth.

The Gnome-like creature yawned, "What about your friend? From what I hear if he doesn't get help soon he'll die."

It rolled in midair it's amber eyes lighting up, "I just carried Naomi's message. I can't talk to her. The last I saw she had her hands full with that Reaper."

The stone was silent for a moment, then something whirled inside it and formed an image an impish character appeared, with long pointy ears and a short stature. It lay there in mid-air for a moment l and then snickered, "Why don't you do something about it then." it gave her a lazy glance.

Inside there was a white shimmering rock, and, to her surprise, the black opal. When she touched the white rock a sharp voice pierced her head, "I making sure you get the opal for one reason. To protect yourself, so don't go running around and doing anything stupid, okay? How's Gabriel?"

It fell to the side. It was something hard wrapped in a shimmering white cloth.

Taylor was somewhere dark. Cold stone surrounded her everywhere. She she lifted her hands above her and pushed. Nothing budged and slowly she allowed her arms to drop. There was no avoiding it, she said to herself. She was in some sort of coffin. She took in a deep breath, pushing down a wave of panic. The day that those men had tried to kidnap her she'd told herself that she'd never allow herself to be a victim again. She whispered to herself, "Don't worry, there's no need to panic. I AM going to get myself out here."

Jestera watched the overcast skies, breathing in slowly. It would rain soon, she could tell because the skies grew more dark by the minute. She drew her hood over her face, and with the darkness came the Siren and even worse, the Gorgons. The fiendish smile she always wore appeared. Maybe staying out would be more fun than she had expected. After all she had to practice some more with her cords and arriving here at this time would be a perfect opportunity to further her experience. Silently she stepped into the rain, letting her cloak fall to the ground behind her.

Suddenly something hit her, knocking her to the ground. It was a piece of cloth, a hard one.

Meanwhile Naomi waited at the top of an oak, her eyes trained on Aigus. She clutched her arm. Time was running out, she had to stop Aigus soon or it would mean her demise. Her eyes hardened, she would not allow herself to become a puppet like the rest. As the guardian she couldn't allow it.
Her mind drifted a second to Gabriel. Derey had to hurry, if she didn't get Gabriel to the capital within the next day he would be dead before anyone could even try to help him. Naomi looked to the tomb. The source of the trouble was there. Soon, soon she had to get there. Almost regretfully she reached inside her cloak, pulling out the dark opal. She'd hoped to be able to take this burden away from the next generation but it looked like she was going to have to deal with the Myst's destruction, once and for all. She took out one of her stones, a white one unlike the others. Slowly she took off her veil and wrapped them both in it. Then she hurled them as far, and as fast away from her as she could. She chuckled, "It ends here."

The girl blew up leaving a swirl of black smoke. Her voice echoed around the forest, "If you want your friend back then come to the tomb beyond the spider's forest. If you can make it hehehehehe."

"I will. . .if you come with me. There's a certain person who needs to talk to you." she giggled.

But the girl was already gone. . .and so was Gabriel. She reappeared in front again a wicked grin on her face. Suddenly her nails started to grow until they were 5 inch long claws.

Suddenly she was behind Derey. "Oh really?"

Meanwhile Derey was with the turtle. It went so fast that the forest around them was just a blur. Just as sudden, they stopped. They were flung back and crashed into an oak. In front of them was a very peculiar girl.
((Her looks:

The last glimpse she caught was of the figure in front of Naomi. A man dressed all in black with dark silver hair and cold blue eyes and Naomi staring right at him.
As soon as the turtle was out of sight Naomi took the staff in both hands. "I'm afraid, Aigus, that I'll have to seal you away again."
The darkened figure said nothing. He only stared, "Are you the white butterfly?" he asked with a straight voice. He leaned forward and Naomi hissed and sprang away, clutching her shoulder. Black magic, if he were able to wound her in any way not even someone using essences would be able to help her. Aigus had been her apprentice some 48 years ago but he had quickly shown signs of darkness and she'd been forced to seal him away. She shivered, he hadn't been this powerful before.

There was a flash of light and two figures burst from the earth into the sky and landed back on the ground. Not taking her eyes off her opponent Naomi spoke, "Get going Derey, now."

Behind Naomi's veil Derey thought she saw a glimmer of a smile. "I swear on the stones." Taking out another stone she turned her back to Derey. Suddenly the earth trembled and something came tearing out of the ground beneath Naomi, pulling her down.

Naomi picked up Gabriel's pack. "I've been the Guardian of the stones for 100 years, Derey. I think I can handle myself."
