Trying out the book that Demetra recommended, not my usual fare but so far a pretty addicting story with several unexpected twists

It was probably a perfect ending since underneath everything
Dustwalker was really a love story.

Just 1-clicked this one, hope I don't regret it, sounds good but these 2 authors have a tendency to turn their books into sexfests many times but 120 pages should keep that down to a minimum :)
Blade

I am back to my all time favorite universe again with
Born Into Flames: A Kurtherian Gambit Series and loving it, of all the 5-6 series I have read books in this universe almost all of them are great entertainment, couple of minor disappointments but overall one of the best things I ever read as far as pure entertainment but none of them hold the allure of the original series which I think is on book 16 or 17 now.
Death Becomes Her

@Vicki - you will love that first book, if you are from The South you will REALLY love it LOL

She writes great stories but the original series Horngate Witches I loved was left unfinished but I thought this one was done indie so who knows. I subscribe to her Goodreads comments but have not seen anything but the last book
Whisper of Shadows was only about a year ago and she has had some personal things that probably caused her to get behind (like her parents house burning down)

Hence why I grabbed
Demon Hunting with a Sexy Ex , you have to have something lighter after
Dustwalker

I am reading
Demon Hunting with a Sexy Ex and I can't remember that last time I laughed this much, I think it was a Dragonkin book but this thing is great, I needed something light and funny after the seriousness of
Dustwalker , amazing book but ending was bittersweet and I needed this book to level me out :)

I have not written the review yet, it may take more thought than usual but
Dustwalker is on KU and you NEED to get this book, possibly the most emotion grabbing book I have read in years and if any of you remember the emotional wrenching ending of
The Scribe , this is that same level (but obviously not the same, more bittersweet). You won't forget this book for a very long time. Tiffany Roberts is the pseudonym for Tiffany and Robert Freund and I have read some of their other works which were always good and entertaining but this is the high mark of their writing so far in the things I have read. The book starts slow and depressing to be honest but by the end you will be glad you read this book, it was a surprise to almost everyone that read it from the reviews as it was for me, never expected anything this good. (Will probably repost this over on Amazon then try to put a review into words that does not spoil the story which is going to be hard because the best parts you should really not talk about in a review.

Rhapsodic is also in my TBR but no idea when it will hit me to read it, reading
Dustwalker today, one of those that starts slow and depressing but has gotten really good by the 40% mark. I tend not to like dystopian settings but this is really good so far.

I am getting to be a worse reviewer because I have so many books that I want to read LOL . Between Mark Lawrence and the Kutherian universe my reviewer schedule is in shambles

Not exactly sure when I will get to read it but I broke down and bought
Red Sister today and hope it is as good as it looks like it will be :)

I put
Moonshadow down several times to do things, which with books I really love I can find multitude excuses for procrastination BUT you really do have to finish it (I thought it got better at the last 25%) and you REALLY need the story to setup
Spellbinder which almost everyone I have talked to has loved (me included)

Spellbinder is the first book in a long time I really loved. The only 5 Star rating I have given to any of her books in a long time. The only bad thing is you really have to read
Moonshadow first or you will not understand a lot of the story in
Spellbinder www.goodreads.com/review/show/2060309823

@Vicki - "I'm a bit terrified to start the Kutherian series. I may never come up for air. "
The original series of 17 books is like that, the book we were discussing is one of the better spin-offs

Sometimes you just have to get a change of pace, I felt I might be getting too critical of the last 2 paranormal books so just to kind of reset everything I am reading
Leave The Night On and liking it. Interesting small town romance and nobody is trying to kill anybody but enough drama to keep you in the book
Paula wrote: "I am struggling with the newest Kutherian Age of Expansion book. I think I might have wildfire hangover." Which book, if it is
Rebirth: Age Of Expansion - A Kurtherian Gambit Series add me in, I actually had a Facebook chat with the authors about it being the least favorite of the 30ish books I have read in this universe. Felt like I was getting too much preaching non-violence and stupid crap like you take over a planet and get rid of a criminal organization but you never kill ANYBODY ??? WTF, get a clue. I was more diplomatic and they were a bit more accepting but the Expansion series and the original series are going to intersect very soon as I understand it. We shall see.

As long as you know what that last sentence is about then all you have to do is suffer for a year or more for another book LOL

@Vicki - It gets worse, at least 2 of the spin-off series are tied into the main series also, its like having a never ending supply of a story you love LOL
