222868 Well I finished Moonshadow and have started Spellbinder and so far they are very entertaining but seem to be missing that "something" that the best Elder Races books have had.

222868 One of the best heroic romantic endings EVER is on sale for $1.99 (usually around $8) Angels' Blood

Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh

222868 Already started Forever Defend and it just makes me smile. It is like a more adult version of Guardians of the Galaxy in many ways (adult more for violence not sex .... yet). I finally nailed down why I love this series so much, it really does make you feel young again, as one of the ladies on the other forum said that Bethany Anne was who she wanted to be when she grew up (and I am pretty sure none of us on that forum are youngsters anymore) :)

222868 I finished The Red Queen's War and it was awesome but the very ending (after all the bad guys) was just a touch disappointing for me but not horribly so, I think I am still trying to put Mark Lawrence into a box where so many other authors are, he is kinda in a box of his own :)

222868 Well I have about 200-250 pages to go before I finish The Red Queen's War and I can already see I am going to mourn its loss for a few days before I can jump into most books but Forever Defend will be good enough to allow me to move on :)

There is a publishing agent for St Martin's that offers me a lot of books of various genre and since I had turned down the last few non paranormal books she had offered (most had a WAY over-the-top alpha hero) I thought I should take one she offered.

222868 I was supposed to have had Stardance Summer read and reviewed last week :) Red Queen's War has been awesome but man it has messed me up LOL

I am a bit concerned that I have read none of the Eternity Springs novels so how much will that affect my reading of this one, I did not realize there were so many when I agreed to take it.

222868 I have still got a day or more reading on the last book of The Red Queen's War and in the queue which I am horribly behind on (Kalayna Price has re-released her first 2 books from her early series which never got finished in prep for a new book):

Forever Defend (yes it will be the first book I read & to hell with books I promised to review)
Michael Anderle

Once Bitten
Kalayna Price

Twice Dead
Kalayna Price

A Stardance Summer
Emily March

Spellbinder
Thea Harrison

The Silent
Elizabeth Hunter

Trial By Magic
Linsey Hall

Moon Angel (Vampire For Hire)
JR Rain

The Nightmare King
Heather Killough-Walden

and a ton of other books I bought for my own enjoyment and a couple that have a release date so far away I am not worried about

222868 I did not realize that when I decided to read The Red Queens War I would have almost nothing to say on the forums while I was doing it LOL, about 50% through book 2 and still loving it

222868 @Cathy - After I read your post I went and read through Ilona blogs and could not find anything about the 4th Hidden Legacy book but saw another poster say the same thing but all agree it will be a very long wait.

Glad you came by :) I saw your name and knew you used to post on Amazon . I think I have a weakness for Nalini Singh writing but I do think that Silver Silence is the best book in that series in a long time.

Wildfire is the end of the trilogy (and a great ending it was) but it leaves the door open for more books without really leaving much undone, it also leaves it in such a way there can be a very long period of time before another book.
