Well I grabbed and read
Ravening Hood and really liked it but the ending was a bit weak but the story moves on and takes on a better tone I think. Since it was a KU read I traded it in for this one to grab when I am in the mood
Lachlan (Immortal Highlander Book 1): A Scottish Time Travel Romance since it is FREE on KU also but I think it is finally time to grab
Lake Silence , I have been looking at it for months sitting in my TBR waiting for March to get here (close enough)

No relation but she does write good stuff, started the new one tonight and it was a slow start but moving along well by the 20% mark, had to shake loose some brain cells to remember the plot/story but all is good now LOL. One thing though I am getting tired of her still hung up on Cody, to me it messes up the series

You guys are killing me, my TBR is overflowing with books I have gotten in just the past 2 months (much less the nameless thousands gathering digital dust ) but I had to finally check out
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me after so many of you loved it and usually almost 1900 reviews and a 4.5+ average is a good sign of a good book LOL
BTW I did finish
Just Say (Hell) No and while I got a few laughs (I may never forget the dog wedding) overall it was fun and forgettable for me :( As I said before the lack of connection with rugby or the locations plus the slang left me on the outside looking in for the most part.

For the ones of us that got into this series, this 3rd book was released today and it is FREE on KU

Burn Bright LOL and stuff came out of left field PLUS anyone reading it don't gloss over the prologue, it will help you understand the first couple of chapters.

@Vinity - I can remember enough of
The Hob's Bargain for free rather than pay $8 even if I did love it.

I had a wild idea that I might like to read
The Hob's Bargain again sometime soon but my copy has been lost/gone for years and they want full price (like $8) after all these years, that just seems criminal

I got to tell you folks I am struggling a bit with
Just Say (Hell) No it is not bad and IS funny in places but the references to places and things about rugby and New Zealand (along with the local lingo/slang) all of which I have no clue about make it a book that so far I have been able to put down way too easy but at the same time I am too involved in the story to even think of not finishing it.

re:
The Alabaster Hip while it is supposed to be a trilogy she definitely leaves some room for another book/spin-off so I hope so but it took a bit over 2 years to get this one so I won't bet any money on it.

Well I have to write a review tomorrow sometime but I can say with no hesitation that
Burn Bright is a hell of a lot better book than
Silence Fallen was, not even close IMHO

re: Hot and Badgered - Frisco and I were just talking about the 1 chapter teaser that the publisher had released several months ago and there have been no ebook ARCs and does not look like there will be but as a VINE reviewer they offer me books all the time and I have never requested one since they seldom offer anything worth reading to be honest but today Hot and Badgered showed up so I guess in a week or so I will get a paperback ARC of it, if the rest of the book is as good as Chapter one those of us who love the insanity will love this one :)

I felt cheated on that 1 chapter teaser, but it did the trick I can hardly wait for it to get here :)
Hot and Badgered

I usually don't talk about my ARCs much because it bothers some people who think I am bragging but just a note that when you have been reading a lot of 4 Star (or less) books and then you start a book by a truly talented author it just amazes you how good some people can tell a story, Patricia Briggs new book
Burn Bright had me totally hooked into the story 100% by the 5% mark and had me wishing all authors could do this :) Her books are so far apart I forget how really good she is sometimes.

Out of the blue I got a paperback book in the mail for review from Heroes & Heartbreakers website/newsletter called
Darkest Night , I don't usually get unsolicited books, just wondered if anyone else who subscribed to their newsletter got a book?

She obviously has to tie up a ton of things that we already know about and probably a few more we don't know yet. I expect an exceptional send off for the series and hope I am not disappointed since we are waiting almost 2 years

I still can't believe they pushed
Summoned to the Thirteenth Grave back to Feb 2019 :( I hope it will be worth the wait

Well since several of you have mentioned it I grabbed
Just Say (Hell) No for an empty slot I had in my KU :) Now sure when I get to read it but it sounded like fun.

@Sharon - I think I have some time between 3 and 4 AM to fit another book in LOL

I HATE cliffhangers and several people on the old Amazon forum years ago told me to avoid KMM or I would stay frustrated but i never got that warning for Kresley Cole.

Well I finished all 3 books in the Immortals Trilogy by Maggie Shayne and taken as a whole they were a solid 4 Star or better but the plots were similar and all 3 ended with a HEA, final book sounded like she might have thought about writing more but since that was in 2013 I am guessing not.
Bought 3 books today, those first 2 end up the 25 books in the Kutherian Gambit and The Second Dark Ages which were concurrent storylines that will merge and become a new series. The last one just sounded good (shiny) :)
