Now all we have to do is wait ANOTHER year LOL

The fact that her first contemporary romance novel was SO good makes it sad IMHO that I found
INK: A Love Story on 7th and Main so average at best since
The Genius and the Muse was exceptional. Hopefully some other will read it and tell me it was just my mood (it happens)

Well I just finished Elizabeth Hunter's new contemporary romance novel
INK: A Love Story on 7th and Main and to be honest it was a disappointment. Not that it was bad but I gave it 3 stars and I have read everything she has every written and 90+% have been 5 Star, this is the only 3 Star in 7 years of reading her works :( It was average and missing the elusive quality that all of her other books normally have (well I was not overwhelmed with "The Storm")

re:
Reluctant Concubine &
Accidental Sorceress I did mention it to Dana Marton and she had actually finished book #3 but was unhappy with it and then had to finish a couple of books she had contracted. The exact text was :
"I finished book 3 last summer, but I'm not happy with it. But I can't pinpoint why. Then I had to set it aside to finish books I had on contract. I'm about to be free again. I will reread book 3 with fresh eyes and see if the problem jumps out at me."
I will have to reread parts of book #2, surprisingly I do remember large parts of it after almost 3 years (which says something about how good it was) but hope she can get it out sooner than later.

"He has a flashlight fetish. " - I am thinking I may also LOL, I got to admit I think I have about 25 over 2 houses and 3 cars, some of them still in the box they came in (sounds worse when I write it)

re: Flashlight - I like it because I can put it in my car and not worry about batteries dying, just pull it out every once in awhile and hook it to my USB charger I keep in all my cars (or the ones that came with the car). I had the bad experience once of needing my flashlight in my car (I have kept one in all vehicles for many years) and finding it dead. The power button glows red when it needs a charge

Re: Reluctant Concubine, who is the author? ."Dana Marton , she writes romantic adventure type stories mainly (good ones) and to my knowledge without looking it up this is her only entry into the fantasy realm.

re: Reluctant Concubine - I LOVED those books but if she don't get the next one written its gonna get ugly :)

@Vinity - OK, off topic but just wanted to give you a look at this, it has become my default flashlight, twice as bright and charges off any USB port (charge lasts a long time, depending on use of course), it is so bright that I don't use it for some of my indoor stuff but for outdoors trying to locate my dogs and such it is WAY better than the ones we bought before (which I still love and use for almost everything else). thought with your outdoor use you might be interested since it is same size diameter and about twice as long as the others we bought

@HappyBookWorm - I don't know where she got it from but one of the comments on my review said "The next book is about the community of Bennett" so might be, I need to check out her FB and webpage. While I loved this book, there might a limited amount of stuff for another book in this town.

Read Burn Bright first IMHO, Lake Silence was so good it is hard to get into anything else or it was for me, while Burn Bright was 5 Star reading it did not have that effect on me

For those who have a NetGalley account the full version ARC (not just chapter 1) of
Hot and Badgered is available for request.

re: Lori Handeland's Creature series - That is a pre-order for 99 cents, releases 31 March but I may try to collect the whole series again in Kindle form, it was a great series that I think she still writes a book in this world every now and then, I have read so many of them they kinda run together. Great series IMHO, another one I had in paperback and got sent to the Humane Society bookstore when I went all-in for Kindle

Now WTF am I gonna read -sigh- I knew
Lake Silence was going to do this ....
I think I will just go with some mindless violence :)
Price of Freedom: Age of Expansion - A Kurtherian Gambit SeriesCORRECTION: I forgot I had a book that might be a better fit for my mood
INK: A Love Story on 7th and Main we shall see

Well I finally finished
Lake Silence and once again am reminded that there are a few authors that just seem to rise a bit higher than others in their story telling ability and Anne Bishop is one of them. My non-spoiler review which I think may be more gushing than informative sadly :)

https://www.amazon.com/kindle-dbs/fir..."I should mention you can only get that book free from the link Holly posted and you have to be a Prime member (and I grabbed that book fast ) LOL

re: Red Dawn - In the original it was the United States invaded by the Soviet Union and its Cuban and Nicaraguan allies (many people thought it was Mexico). I did not watch the new one but read that it was N Korea (I cannot even get my head around that one)

It was Aussie Girl's fault she Killed the forum saying bad things about "The Others" LOL

Since this is Goodreads, I can say "holy shit" I am convinced that "The Others" needs to be in a genre of its own, this is my feelings after 15% ... gonna be some serious book hangover I fear
