I think I got a bit over excited. It was on Wicked Scribes not Nalini's Update. I read the emails one after another. Still a great achievement.

222868 Congratulations Doug on your review in Nalini Singh's newsletter! Good on you and good review. I must say I felt very proud to be a book friend for ten years now. It was 2009 when I first discovered the Group on Amazon and wow have I enjoyed wasting time.. oops I mean having deep and meaningful discussions about books and life since then, LOL.

222868 Oh, that's good Douglas. Mine's in the mail and I'll be reading it as soon as it arrives.

I'm much preferring this series to psy changlings now because there is more story moving forward . Psy changlings seems to be stuck and focusing on the couples and all those metaphors/descriptive adjectives just get too much for me. And it's such a shame because I loved all the previous ghost storyline.

222868 Yes, you're right. I should try one and see, on one of those 24 hour flights would be perfect. Maybe I'll start with an In Death, I think I'm up to Book 30 or so.

Glad to hear things seem to be looking up.

I must be in the minority but I like to read not listen. I've never done an audio book, maybe because I like to be immersed in the story and doing two things at once would be to distracting for me. Great that so many of you enjoy it though.

Ooh thank you! Your summary nearly makes me want to start reading again... but I will restrain the urge, LOL. I've moved away from paranormal these days only following a few series which I will probably follow to my dying day or the author's whichever comes first.

OMG, Lulu, I thought I was bad with the BDB.. seriously though if you're still enjoying it that's great. It got too much for me but I stuck it through till Skylar and Dimitri although I do occasionally wonder what happened to the females who were sleeping dragons... You can spoil for me if you want to, LOL.

Hope reading those books gives you some respite in the days ahead. You think you get your kids safely through child hood and then something so unexpected like this happens. Really hoping you and your family get some good news.

222868 Happy birthday Vanessa.

I'm halfway through Good Omens The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett . It's pretty quirky, they did a good job adapting it to the TV series.

222868 I know a few of you are fans of the late Terry Pratchett. I just watched Good Omens and enjoyed it a lot. It was a bit silly and quirky in parts but what an imaginative story. Now I'm going to backtrack and read the book.

Also reading this from indie writer Lauren Gilley. She writes a great biker story and now is writing an epic paranormal with her interpretation of the true story of Dracula. Dragon Slayer (Sons of Rome Book 3) by Lauren Gilley
