Oh right. I remember Sian.. is Lila a new character? Better move it up my reading list.

222868 Lulu, isn't this book about the fate of the kidnapped cousin (?) of Lothaire from Dacia? Wasn't the storyline started in the last book. Oh... my memory!

222868 Hi Cace Waving.... Glad to see you found us. I'm still reading the IAD, have Wicked Abyss just to go. I still like it although I think she probably should start moving it towards Nix's book and the big showdown.

Re Outlander - Wasn't Jocasta Jamie's aunty? The sister of the McKenzies and also Jamie's mother Ellen. And she married a Cameron but she was having a secret affair with the butler. Gee, I wish my brain could remember all these details. It's swirling around in there somewhere.... with the other thousands of books I guess, LOL.

I'm trying to think who you mean? Are you mixing the storylines up with Roger, their son in law who nearly gets hung and gets saved by Jamie in the nick of time? It is a while since I read those earlier books.

222868 Vinity, I really enjoy watching Lucifer although I haven't watched the season opener yet. It's pretty cheesy and often silly but sometimes you need something on the lighter side right.

And I'm loving Outlander this season as well. A lot of people have commented that they hate the Helwater section of the book and Jamie's episode with Geneva. I actually loved that whole book (Voyager) and think the show is doing a great job bringing it to life. I can't wait for the scene when Jamie and Claire are reunited.. and he faints. I still don't think Catriona Balfe is my perfect Claire but I'm willing to get over that. Oh and glad that Murtagh survived Culloden (good change from the books) I'm wondering when he will pop up again.

You're probably right. Anyways, time to let it go, suck it up and get back to the reading and the chatting, LOL.

222868 Why the hell (Yeah, that does feel good to be able to say that word without **) didn't Amazon just say they were redesigning the Forums. And I wonder does that mean the old ones are gone for good or whether we will be able to access our old threads?

Badly done doesn't even begin to explain what a mess they've made of it. But after all they are "Engulf and Devour", they have the market cornered and probably know they can do pretty much whatever they want.

222868 I'm only up to book 10 in the Charley D series. I'm thinking now I might wait for them all to be released (I think its finishing at book13) and then read them in a binge.

222868 Feel the same way, Melindeeloo.. and Oh my goodness, I hope Perriwinkle makes It over here.

I think a lot of people who had just popped into the Ami threads now and then are going to get a pretty nasty shock when they've just disappeared.

I wonder if this has been Amazon's long game once they bought Goodreads? Hate to be cynical but I think it probably was.

Hi Lulu, great that you found us over here. Yes, I hope our beloved forum doesn't close but at least we can continue over here.

222868 Half way through Archangel's Viper (Guild Hunter, #10) by Nalini Singh .

I love the world that Nalini has created in this series and although this particular instalment is not my favourite, I'm still enjoying it. I actually don't mind the banter between Venom and Holly although the plot is a little slow moving. Running at about a 3.5 star read so far.

222868 I've got it on pre-order. It seems like I haven't read a PNR book for so long, so looking forward to getting back to a series that I really like.

222868 I only read the first book.. but enjoy the show so much I didn't feel it necessary to read on with the books. Douglas, you are really missing out on something, the machinations and the depth of the characters is first rate. Oh and the dragons are freaking awesome. I want one!

Ooooo, Douglas , you know I am still drinking the Kool Aid for the BDB. That and Karen M Moning's Fever series are still my buy hardbacks on release day kind of reads. Oh, and Kate Daniels. Anything else I pretty much wait for MMPB.

I never got past about book 3 with Sherrilyn Kenyon although that new series of hers piqued my interest with the addition of spooky pirates.... but again I'm waiting for the price drop.
