222868 I found two new to me KU series that I enjoyed...
Dragons Don't Eat Meat this one has a leading lady who is a Valkaryie owner of a pest removal service (pests of the magical variety) and has all sorts of oddball critters living with her and a promise of romance with a hunky gargoyle. There's 2 books and a prequel so far and another book out in feb. Also good was Oath Sworn, uf with a were leopard in the lead, I just finished the first of five books and am planning on continuing on with the next.

So that should keep me busy for a bit while waiting for ilona andrew's Blood Heir next week - i am really looking forward to Julie's book and to see what they did after scrapping the serial

I agree with the less passionate pairing part, that and they spent as much time apart as together and the more HFN feel to the end and that's why it was more fine/ok for me overall - sort of a filler dragging out the wait for Illium's story.

222868 I finally got around to reading Archangel's Sun - my library loan finally came in - it was fine, a little odd how she rewrote Hummingbird though.

222868 Merry Christmas all ! ( speedy recovery wishes to you Kristi)

I've essentially done a Christmas romance advent calendar, with pretty much a holiday romance each day in December - now I am just about 'Hallmarked' out :)

222868 I miss audible escape, but there were some cute holiday stories that were free listens in the audible app Eight Winter Nights (hannukah) Snowflake Bay and a short audible original Snow Day by julie lipton

222868 I am immersing myself in holiday romances - second chances, family get togethers, sharing the love of the festivities, redeeming the Grinches, and lots of mistletoe. It's a nice escape from all that's been going on.

222868 I have a family library with my hubby, I don't think that things get automatically synced to his kindle, but i can send things or he could download if he chose. If you don't want to share something you could explicitly say don't share in Manage Content and Devices , but that seems like too much work for me since I suffer from one-click-itis.

222868 I just finished the first Sebastian St Cyr book, you guys have been mentioning this series for so long. Gruesome murder but he was an interesting character. I would definitely do more, they are a bit pricey so I will wait for a sale since my library doesn't have them.

I agree, both of the other stories in the Kinsmen Universe are good, A Mere Formality is another favorite. I am not a re-reader but these and the ones in Small Magics are exceptions, they are goto reads for me when I need something short but good.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HKQJ2CV - this is set on another planet but the seeds of the hidden legacy series are here.

This exactly the way I felt about this. I bought the Mellisa Marr one and am considering the next Gen spin off by Kennedy even though I didn't read the original series. The grace Draven short was a great tease for Gaeres story and heroine.

222868 I bought Under a Winter Sky for the Stitch in Time epilog Christmas Story, but I Iiked all the stories and several were really good. It has a lovely little Grace Draven Wrath King's short with Gaeres and now I am really looking forward to his book - I like his h and I liked their interactions.
