In fact, I just got back from there, again. I went on Saturday as well, but this time I brought in some old magazines and a couple of books to sell. I thought I'd only get a buck or two and was pleasantly surprised they gave me $10! So of course I had to go and spend some of it. :-) I picked up two more books,

I just received an order from Thriftbooks.com and got a nice surprise,

On to September we go, let's hear what you've bought.

FYI, for those of you lucky enough to have one by you, (like me), Half-Price Books is having a 20% off everything sale for Labor Day (US) weekend. It goes from Thursday, September 2-Monday, September 6.

Anyone who wants to add a vote to the list, just go here:

I was just wonder if there are any super popular titles currently out that even though it seems everyone else loves them SO much, you don't want to read them at all, much less buy them?
For me, I've just heard so many people gushing over Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series and Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series that I am just totally turned off, I have no interest in even trying them now. How about you? Got any like that?

Only 2. I have a rule that I won't spend more than five dollars on a used book from Thriftbooks, and there were only two on my wishlist that were under five bucks, otherwise I probably would have bought more.

I couldn't help it, I felt like I was going through withdrawal. I've hardly bought any books this month, I just had to place an order with Thriftbooks to relieve the suffering. But no more for the rest of the month, really! :-)

Waking the Witch I got it signed by the author! She's really cool!!!"Cool! I've got
Frostbitten signed by her.

Just to confirm, are we looking for a list of fiction read in college or nonfiction to learn things you would in college? Or am I completely wrong? :-)

It's called a public library. :-)
