How do I tell without spoiling anything? Let's just say that everything is not as it appears in J.M.Barrie's Neverland. Hook and Jill shows that there's much more to the story and the relationships between all the characters are more than they appear to be. Check it out, I'm sure you'll like it. I've reread it three times already, it's one of the best novels I've read in the last couple of years.

22225 Murder at the Mla

All of a sudden she'd be tentative-sounding, as if she didn't really know a thing in the world- just a little like a dingbat. Sometimes she'd even say, brightly, "Am I making any sense?"
To which Boaz would grow increasingly inclined to tell her, "No, ma'am, not a speck of it."

22225 I got another autograph yesterday! Andrea Jones signed my copy of Hook and Jill, her awesome retelling for adults of the story of Peter Pan.

22225 It was so cool! I went to sort of business discussion group for authors and got to meet and talk to Andrea Jones for almost an hour! She signed my copy of her awesome novel Hook and Jill for me. It's an incredible retelling of the tale of Peter Pan for adults. A must read. Since the group was so small, and I actually was the only non-author there, I discovered online that she would be the speaker there, she invited me to chat with her awhile about her book. I've read it three times already, but with all the insight she gave me, I'm going to have to read it again! She happens to be Pagan which was really cool because so am I, she pointed out a lot of Pagan symbolism in her book that I was shocked I missed. She also mentioned how she considered Peter Pan to be a boy with Asperger's syndrome, a type of autism, which her adult son also grew up with. I really must suggest you read this book, it has something for everyone, really.

22225 Do you ever feel guilty spending so much of your own money on books for yourself? It just seems to me that so many people like family and friends keep commenting that I have too many books, that I spend too much on books. Every so often I feel like it is wrong to spend more on books, like I should be spending it on something else. But it's my money, I worked for it, why shouldn't I spend it as I want, right? What do you think? How do you handle it?
