152301 Some interesting suggestions for this batch. I made a screen capture so I'll remember for what I voted for :p

I'm not really fan of the "name" topics as I'm not english and I've an uncommon first name in my language (and there's no way I'll find a book with my last name). It's interesting to select with this but it can be really difficult to find several books which can fit.

152301 Which book did you read? Eleanor & Park

Did you enjoy it? Yes, it was a smooth and easy read.

Did the main character had an unusual characteristic? She was awkward regarding what you can expect from a "normal" teenager (clothes, hairs, behavior...).

Did you like this high school? Nop, I would like to see a school where being yourself is not a problem and this is not one of these.

152301 Which book did you read? Sand Omnibus

Did you enjoy the book? Yes, nice world building and likable characters.

How far were you in the future? No idea, but it's not a near future.

Do you think this future is possible at some point? The world became a desert, the old cities were burred under several hundred meters of sand. I suppose it could happen at some point in a far future but I don't think humanity will succeed to survive.

152301 Finished it, I enjoyed it more than Silo, but I missed the big explanations from the series as I would like to learn more about this world. There were neat ideas and, as with Silo, the world building was unusual. I'll jump in other books from the author without problem, the quality of the stories stays good and the writing is pleasant.

152301 We are halfway done with Week 39! There is a color in the title of your book.

This discussion thread is solely for your progress. (Book discussions go in individual threads.)

Which book did you read?

Did you enjoy it?

Was the color from the title an "important" part of the book?

Are there other books in your challenge with a color in the title?

152301 We are discussing it, so you'll have news about it soon ;)

152301 I haven't finished this yet (I've a busy schedule), but I'm enjoying it a lot. The world building is interesting and I really care about all the family. The author worked pretty well with the several points of view.

For the moment, I find it more well paced and interesting than the Silo series but, as it's a standalone, we probably won't have all the answers about the current state of the world.

152301 A childhood classic, I'm so happy :D (I'm not sure I voted for this as I read them all over the year).
I didn't voted for the Non fiction, but I've some non fiction books I didn't read on my shelves and there is this new book about Back to The Future which will be released soon (it would be a very nice excuse to buy it :p).
Others are good, so it's a nice batch.

152301 Oh, I'm evil, I lured you in reading a good story :p
The books are quickly read, so it won't interfere with your progress in the challenge. And you'll probably be happy with some surprises in this one!

152301 I read all of them one after the other :D
The next is maybe my fav in the series, the atmosphere was very interesting and, again, a new type of society!

152301 Good luck! I succeeded to finish this one but I was interested only in the first par of the book.

152301 I'm curious to see what you'll think about this story. The change of "world" was disturbing but I liked how it was kind of the opposite of The Giver's society.

152301 Hi there, the poll is opened:
https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1...

The mods checked all the suggestions to remove the ones already taken or too much similar to other groups.

You can start by voting the name you prefer and I'll do a reminder just before the end so you could change to one of the most voted names if your choice didn't make it.
