Haha most of the books from the NPR have really cheesy covers :DThe choices were interesting, my top 10 was easy enough to decide but there are few suggestions I really disliked!
What did you read this week? NimonaDid you enjoy it? Yes, a lot!
Do you usually read graphic novels? Yes, often, I enjoy to change a little from novels, here and there.
For what reason did you choose this graphic novel? It was highly recommended by a friend with similar tastes in books and as it was a standalone, it was really appealing.
We are halfway done with Week 42, your read a graphic novel (or something near like a manga, comic book, etc). This discussion thread is solely for your progress. (Book discussions go in individual threads.)

I just finished it, thanks to your recommendation. Great short story! I've to dig more on the ones published by Tor, the quality is usually very nice.

Jennifer > we had several readers under 16 this year :DSo far, there are very nice ideas, I already have a top 4!
The second was interesting too as we learn more about the characters. I think it's a good 2nd volume and I hope the series will continue with this entertaining quality.
Good to know you enjoyed the other books as well, Megan! Any recommendation? It's my first by this author and I'd like to try some others :)
Yes Joy, we'll do a clean suggestions list as soon as the final weeks list is done. We'll do posts like the actual "introduction post" so the list will be added there.
The poll for the folders organization ended so the winner is... A to Z. It's probably more convenient for discussions so we'll see if it works well. For those reading in order, we'll add a line in the header to say which week we are currently reading ;)
Wow, 3 of my votes made the list (the 2nd was 7th so it's good too and not a difficult topic).I'm looking forward to see the suggestions for the last poll!
Which book did you read? The Picture of Dorian GrayDid you enjoy it? Hmm, no. The parts I was interested in were developed in 2 sentences, the parts I wasn't interested in were developed in chapters :p
Was the color from the title an "important" part of the book? It's the name of the main character, I think it suits well to his story.
Are there other books in your challenge with a color in the title? Yes! Black Feathers and Ruby Red (The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender can count too).
Which book did you read? UprootedDid you enjoy it? Yes, the atmosphere was really compelling and the mystery was pretty good.
What kind of magic was in the book? It was mostly magic related to nature.
We are halfway done with Week 31! It was a magical week. This discussion thread is solely for your progress. (Book discussions go in individual threads.)

For this year, I chose 28 books which were not in my reading list before the challenge (and probably would't make it without it). It was a bit annoying as there are lots of other books I wanted to read, so I'd lots of side reads. However, I discovered books I really enjoyed a lot (Big Little Lies for example) and I read too classic books (I didn't enjoy them but it's nice to know what's inside), so no regrets.I'll totally do the challenge next year, but probably with short books for difficult topics as I will be more busy, and with most of the books from my huge new reading list (and from the 2015 GR choice awards as the 2014 ones I used for my list were pretty interesting).
