It will be Sherlock for me, as I have the complete book and read only the 1st and 2nd stories :) It will be The Hound of the Baskervilles, so I'm glad it's recommended by Lora (anyway, it's Sherlock, so it can be disappointing :p).

Les fourmis is a good one ^^
Oz has Dorothy, the Jungle Book has Mowgli, etc. It seems difficult to find a full nonhuman story.
I think I'll go for Animal Farm as it's short, or
Watership Down which has very high ratings. I tried to find something with an appealing summary and failed miserably so I hope someone will add an interesting book to the list before week 7 :)

I saw the movie twice (last one wasn't really interesting, maybe I'm too old now or the movie didn't aged well). I'm curious to know how the book is, so I'll follow the thread :)
I liked the first two Narnia books but was not so pleased with the others. I didn't read them all, my last was Prince Caspian, and I only watched the 1st movie.

I totally can understand that! I'm finding it pretty shallow and the characters are annoying, but I like the maze idea and how the story is built. I haven't high expectations on this one as I'm only searching distraction so it's an easy read. Hunger Games, Ender's Game or The Giver were way better & deep ;)

I liked a lot Ender's Game too and was disappointed by the movie. The 1st one is a light read, the next books are more philosophical ones (for me, they are not true sequels even if some characters are the same).
Maybe I'll go for The Maze Runner (currently reading). I read almost all the YA dystopian books which became a movie (trailers are a good to-read list) so it's hard to find something new.

Hi! I saw the challenge on Popsugar too and thought that I couldn't do it cause of the long list of genres I don't read usually (plus a busy year). This group will help me a lot to discover new books/authors and maybe to complete the challenge (I'll probably check several categories with one book and won't read in the list order).
I'm from France so I'll have a huge choice for the "book set in a different country" but I'm not sure I'll succeed to find one which "takes place in my hometown" :D

This one is my "2015 resolution"! I started it something like 2 years ago, so I decided I have to finish it this year. It will be a convenient book for the 500pages and help me complete my resolution!
