How is everyone doing with their flights of fantasy? Just a couple more weeks to go!

What topic should be our focus in July? Nominations are open until Tuesday, June 20th.

Well done, Rosemarie! I struggled to eat even one pie last year, so I'm impressed at how well you're doing. Glad you're enjoying the selections.

Amber, I enjoyed Touch of Power, so I'll pick that one for you.

Ketsuki, how about Splintered for you?

That looks interesting, Sonia.

Depends... it might be good for a while, but I hear immortality grows tiresome. ;)

Just wait - you may not be aging anymore!

It's a lovely series, Jenny. I think you might like it.

Don't know what it is about those shiny new books, but the allure is deadly for sure!

Lol, I'm not sure why, but that happens to me a lot too. That's why it's good to give yourself a bit of choice instead of forcing yourself through them in order.
But, maybe it's time to re-examine those books that you're really struggling to pick up and see if you think you ever will. Sample the first 20 pages or so to see if you're even interested anymore. If not, take it off your shelf altogether. At least you'll have made a choice.
Good luck both of you!

Most Popular Books Published in 2017. Not all of them have been published yet, but it might give you some ideas.

June's theme will be beach reads. Plan and report your reads here.

I'm trying not to eat the food in Fairie - appropriately this was an issue in
Flame of Sevenwaters!

I finished
Flame of Sevenwaters, the last book in the Sevenwaters series. It's all about family, with a brother-sister relationship as one of the main themes of the book. Loved this series...

That's always just a little frustrating.
