Definitely not too late yet, Linda!

It's time to choose our theme for December. What would you like to read about as we wrap up the year?
Nominations are open until Monday, November 20th.

I read
All for Love, in which the main character takes the place of her identical cousin. She changes into her cousin's clothes, name & life, and of course other changes ensue.

The Help, Jenny? Or a Dickens novel could work. I see you have some of them on your shelf.

Just finished level 3. I'm exceeding my own expectations - it's so satisfying!

Bookopoly players, would you like to suggest any changes to the game for next year? I do plan to keep the challenge, but maybe modify the board a little bit. Are there categories that you're tired of landing on or that you find too difficult? New ones that you think would be fun?
Let me know any suggestions you have in the
2018 Planning thread. Thanks!

I've been thinking the same thing, Cindy. Maybe we should bring back the genre list so we don't need to do any voting, but keep the freedom to choose whichever books you want to read within those.

It's November, and time to start looking forward to next year's challenges. We love to hear from you, so here's a chance to let us know what you'd like to see from the group in 2018.
1. Which challenges have you enjoyed the most?
2. Which would you like to see repeated?
3. Would you make any changes to existing challenges if you could?
4. Do you have any ideas for new challenges?
5. How did you like the monthly theme challenge? Should we do this again next year, or try something different?

November's theme is Changes. Changes in seasons or nature, in life, character, or personality are all possibilities. Shifts in a political or cultural scene or in location could also work.
What will you be reading? Do you see any other ways this theme could apply?

Well done, Cindy - I bet that feels so good!
Paula wrote: "Looks extremely creepy, Allison. I've never read anything by Amanda Stevens but I see she's published quite a few books. Is she an author you know well?"This was my first by her, Paula. I'd seen a few good reviews about this series and decided this was a good time to try it. I do think I'll continue with the series.
