For those of you who are having trouble with this one, I've found that it's easier for me when I have some flexibility of choice. I'm going to expand the requirements to allow you to choose from the 20 oldest books on your shelf. We'll see if that helps!
I crossed over the 50 book mark in June, so I'm joining you overachievers. I definitely won't be catching up though!Number of books to date: 57
January: 12
February: 7
March: 7
April: 7
May: 7
June: 13
July: 4
I'm considering The Holy Woman by Qaisra Shahraz. It's set in Pakistan, and happens to be by an old neighbor of my family's from when I was a kid (in England). Apparently her work is quite popular in Pakistan.
I've also been intending to read The Midnight Rose by Lucinda Riley for a long time now. It's set in India and England. I'm not sure how much of it will be in India, but maybe I'll finally get around to it.
The Midnight Rose - Completed
The Lotus Palace - Completed

The poll results were so close that we will include both themes this month: wilderness/nature and heat. Think summer, whether that be spending time in the wilderness, out in nature, or in the heat of the sun. Or interpret the themes more loosely - whatever works for you!

For those of you who need a little push to finish some of those series that you've started, let's cross the Finish Line together!

Well done everyone! Today is the final day to finish this challenge, so I hope you've all enjoyed your time on the continent of Africa.
For those of you who wish you had more time to work on this challenge, I'm offering an extension. We can do a couple more months or the rest of the year, depending on how ambitious you're feeling.
