Aitziber, I'm definitely one of those 'explore through reading' people, and there's hardly any information/groups where I live. Oddly, when I was still questioning, I turned to non-fiction books and thesis papers to sort my head out. I expected myself to turn to fiction, I guess I just didn't want to get in my head a stylised view of dealing with it all.

And now, I have an urge to read all the LGBT literature I can find! I'd definitely love to explore the differences between typical 'straight' romantic writings, and that of writing focusing on LGBT relationships.

Okay, I've made my decision...

1. The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood - I just love it too much
2. Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky
3. War and Peace - because being stranded on a desert island might actually force me to read it.

How did you find A Farewell to Arms? I've been meaning to read some Hemingway!

5 ahead of schedule. I know I'll then let it get down to on track or 1 ahead, then I'll manically start reading.

Judging the rest of my year, I want to be rather ahead by April, as I know I won't get a lot of reading done during exam period...

If you want to highlight your views of the author, do so. But don't let it affect the score you give a book. A review, after all, is about the writing and the book itself, not the author.
