Aitziber, I'm really tempted to read Maurice now!

20.
Jamaica Inn by
Daphne du MaurierIt's not as good as Rebecca, but definitely a good read. Du Maurier is quickly becoming one of my favourite writers.

Suhayb, we have the same goal!
Welcome to the group. I hope you enjoy yourself here :)

I'm really tempted to have a month where I focus mostly on Shakespeare, and see how many I can get read, especially from the histories.
I originally said that I wanted to read all of Shakespeare's plays before going to university, but time is running away from me, so I doubt that will happen. I will, however, try my best.
I'm gonna say my 'month of Shakespeare' will be April, where my reading will predominantly be made up of his plays. I will try to fit some in during March, but my reading plan is already pretty full!
UPDATE: I've decided to extend this over to May and June, mainly because Shakespeare fits in well with my exams (short plays and intellectually stimulating), so I'll try and get more and more read.
My reads so far:
King Henry IV, Part 1
Julius Caesar
The Tempest
King Lear

I got The Red Queen out the library, so excited to read that this month!

That's yet another book on my to-read list. There are too many books and too little time!

I'll hopefully get round to it one day.

I've been meaning to read Dune. The length is just so daunting!

I completely agree, Chase. I studied it at school, and it completely shocked me. It's definitely evolved so much.
Are you thinking of updating your challenge? You are doing very well!

7 books in February for me! Far higher than I expected it to be!

I'd definitely be interested in exploring both YA and adult queer literature! Count me in!

Hard Times really surprised me. Having no much experience with Dickens, I picked it purely due to its length and I actually really enjoyed it. It's a deep social criticism, much like A Tale of Two Cities, but it's relatively simple to follow. I'd definitely recommend it!

Tara, you'll be all Hardy'd out this month!

I really should update mine as my plan has changed a bit!

That's pretty amazing! Phenomenal reading!

That's interesting. I'm definitely planning on reading it this year. Hopefully in the summer!

John, I admire your 'chunkster' reading!

That's sitting on my bedside table waiting to be read! How does it compare to other Du Mauriers?

10 books?! Wow!
I'm currently 60 pages into Great Expectations and I'm rather enjoying it. Haven't really 'gotten into it' yet though.

Iasa, I bought that recently. What did you think of it overall?
