I'm so sorry that I haven't been around much! Life has been awfully hectic (exams are coming up), so reading has basically stopped for the last 2 months, and alas so has Goodreads.
I'm trying to get back into reading as a form of stress relief, so I should be on here far more!
I hope everyone is enjoying the month! :)

Roseanne, that sounds like my life right now!

Here is Question 8! Faye, unfortunately, can't be here to post it, but she left it with me to put up!
What's the first literary quote that pops into your head upon reading this question?

Thank you! It's just my awful face ;)

I'm planning on reading this after a book or two, or at least definitely this month!

Welcome to the group, Sarah!
I share your goal of 100 books. Good luck to you :)
I hope we live up to your expectations as a group.

To get around the absence of a 'read' date, make sure you always click 'currently reading' and then onto 'read', rather than just adding it straight to your read shelf.

You're doing great! Well done!

I made the conscious decision to stop reading this for the time being. I couldn't get out from behind the brick wall of abandonment. I just started it as I hit a completely slump in my reading, which is massively unfortunate.
I'll definitely pick this up later in the year, and get it read. Hopefully in the summer!

Oddly, I'm currently reading Great Expectations and rather struggling with it. The writing is fabulous, I just don't think I've gotten 'into it' yet. Then again, I am only 100 or so pages in.

Just put Maurice, MaddAddam, Red Dragon and The Maze Runner on my Kindle in preparation for this months reading.
I now proudly have a 'To-Read - March' collection :3

After some recent discussions on other threads, I thought would be a good idea to have a thread focusing on LGBT lit and the portrayal of LGBT characters.
Personally, I haven't read nearly as much LGBT lit as I would like to have done, but there's still time!

I'd always recommend a bit of John Green :)

It doesn't matter if you're behind! Just as long as you enjoy yourself :)

I'm planning on starting this after I finish Great Expectations!

I own Giovanni's room. Really must get round to reading it, considering it's so short.
Shreya, do you use an e-book cataloguing system like Calibre? If so, I can send you an e-book of Maurice.

Two people?! Looks popular. Definitely let me know how you find it.

The MaddAddam trilogy is really good, especially if you like Dystopian books, or Margaret Atwood in general.
I'd go for it. The first two books run simultaneously, so you can read them in either order and it doesn't matter :)
Let me know what you think of Howard's End! It's been on my to-read list forever.

Are you enjoying it, Roseanne?

Revised my list. Took out ones I didn't particularly want to read, and added a few. Overall, it should be a good month!
