That's quite alright, Faye! I thought it would be a cool group to try set up, I know it's going to be a challenge though! (no pun intended!)

I wish I could live in Canada. It's the one place I really want to visit. Perhaps I'll go during my second year of Uni...

I have the same vibe about 2014! It's a lot of big changes, but should be an amazing year, reading and otherwise.

@Lissa: Middlemarch is a long, and a bit of a rambling read, but I'm hoping it will help me with the start of my Dickens exploration later this month!

@Jools: I'd definitely recommend revisiting it, it's a wonderful read. I only have about 100 pages to go, which I'm kind of sad about to be honest.

How come Just One Year is a let down? I really hate it when books do that...

Hi everyone,

I'm Holly, and I'm hoping to start my English Literature degree next year in September. My main love is classics, and dystopian fiction. My favourite author is Margaret Atwood, who I think is utterly awesome!

What are you currently reading? Are you enjoying it?

I'm currently reading Middlemarch by George Eliot. I'm really enjoying it so far, but it is the first Victorian novel I've read in forever, so it's been a bit hard!

I'm sure 2013 has been a busy year for us all reading wise. What has been your favourite reads? What books would you recommend?

So, what's your target for your 2014 reading?

I'm planning on reading 75 books next year, to beat my hopeful 50 book milestone I set myself for 2013!
