This is the thread to discuss Dickens' Oliver Twist. I'm personally really glad a Dickens has come up for the Classic Group Read!

As the YA and Genre Group Reads are combined this month, we'll be doing 2 books. The second is The Maze Runner by James Dashner. This the thread to discuss it!

I know a few people have been interested in this. I can't wait to see some of the discussions!

Be warned, I have read this book and I sobbed through the last 100 pages. I would definitely recommend it though. Just make sure you have tissues at hand!

I've finally got back into reading!

Finally reading again, so had a massive boost.

Managed to finish One Day, which was different to what I expected but still enjoyed it. The ending throws a curveball at you and I definitely wasn't expecting it.

Also got As You Like It by Shakespeare read, for my English Lit class. After reading the likes of Richard III and Ofhello recently, it seemed mightily light hearted and slightly boring...

Then decided to pick a Dickens, and went for the shortest one. Hard Times, despite it's title, was not a hard time at all. Very interesting, and enjoyable read. It's made me really want to read more Dickens!

I've only read The White Queen by her; and really enjoyed it. Another common starter is The Other Boleyn Girl.

Personally, I really love the time period of The White Queen. I'd definitely recommend it.

I'm past the prison part, which I actually found really interesting. Right now, I'm following Franz, and got a bit lost a few page back so i'm not 100% sure what's happening.

I'm planning on finishing The Count of Monte Cristo, if I can. Then I'll try something short to finish the month off with. Really really disappointed with my reading this month...

Ruchi, I really need to finish that series! I've read Game of Thrones, which I absolutely loved. I guess the length of them are freaking me out because I know I need to stick to my target... Maybe in the summer I'll get round to reading them!

I really really need to get back into this. I've hit a complete stand-still with it. I'm really gonna push to try read this by the end of the month. Fingers crossed.
