Considering I have another 600 pages of Ulysses to read, I am weary of starting The Count now, even though I'm dying to!

Melissa, it's basically up to you if you want to categorise your books as part of the genre challenge. We do have a
Suggested Reads thread.
I hope this helps!

Amazing reading so far, guys. Thank you so much for getting back to us!

My total for January is 12 :)

Go for it, Faye!

They both sound really good, Ruchi. Both are ones that are on my to-read list!

I'm actually really happy that we got Northanger Abbey. I so far haven't got into any of the Austens, I get like a third of the way through then just give up.
Seeing as Northanger Abbey is so different from her other books, I'm actually rather looking forward to it!

I read this as I wanted something shorter to read, and I knew I'd have a lot to read in February.
This actually surprised me a little bit. I don't think it's
amazing, but it was a good read. The writing was interestingly done, you really felt for Charlie. I can understand how people would love this book, and I can understand how people would hate it too. The writing style isn't like a 'normal' book, but the letters addressed to the reader really add a personal touch to it.

Faye, I've got Jamaica Inn out of the library, so I might have to join you in reading that!

Excellent review, Emad!

11. Perks of Being A Wallflower
Thought I'd get one of the group reads out the way'

Crikey, how have you read so much?
That's amazing!

How the hell did you get through it, Faye?

Loran, you'll see a 'Add Book/Author' button just above the comment box. If you click that, you can search for books or authors and add them to your post.
I don't know why, but this feature isn't available on the mobile apps. Seems stupid to me.

Loran, I'm half way through that now (Thought I'd get an early start since I have so much reading to do in Feb) and I'm really enjoying it so far.

Of course you're allowed to count it, Kassandra. :)

Roseanne, only do it if you want to. I'm still weary, just because I'm already doing Ulysses...
If you don't get to it during February, don't worry about it. I doubt I'll finish by the end of the month, and I'm sure others won't too!

I know, Sandy. And I February is a busy month! Oh well, it'll be fun!

Lucy, I completely agree. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this book. I thought I'd be with the majority of the people on this thread, but once I got into it I wholeheartedly enjoyed the madness of it. And usually weird narration puts a massive red cross on a book for me, the narrative really worked.
Northanger Abbey, obviously for the Group Read
One Day, it's been sitting on my bookcase for ages
Pride and Prejudice, just to bulk up my Austen.
