I actually have Master and Commander on my to-read list for this year, so I might get it done sooner rather than later!

It's funny you mentioned that Ashley, and Kassandra, I've just finished Divergent.

Had a really focused day with reading so far. Thought I'd do something simpler to get back into it!

Yep, this 1200 pages epic was picked for February's classic read. It's one hell of a chunkster.

This is the thread for the genre group read for February. This month's genre is Romance/Chick-Lit.

87% way through and really enjoying it. Although parts of it are slightly predictable (Tris/Tobias romance for example), it is an enjoyable read. I'll definitely be reading the next two, when I find the time.

I started Master and Commander and enjoyed it. Not sure why I never finished it.

I absolutely love the film though. One of my favourites.

Half way through Divergent. I thought I'd start it early!

I'm not actually sure if I have a favourite character... I definitely have a few that I really like though.

Remus Lupin from Harry Potter - his character is always vastly underrated. JK Rowling said his character mirrored the prejudice against AIDs in society, and he's was one of my favourite characters of the series.

Raskolnikov from Crime and Punishment - by far the character I understand out of all the books i've read. All his pain and guilt and madness is just fascinating!

Richard III was excellent. If you like that era, it's really interesting. Richard II is also a great Shakespeare play!

My reading has completely slumped over the last few weeks. Finally finished We by Yevgeny Zamyatin.

I've started this early as I wanted something light to read!

Shreya, I'm interested to see what you think of Mockingjay!

I read in bed. Like always.

Although I have vowed that when I get my first thing I'm going to but will be a comfy armchair to read in!

I'd also love to read more in coffee shops. Hopefully that will become easier when I go to University.
