Genre: Sci-Fi/Dystopian
Choices...
2001 (Arthur Clarke)
The Dispossessed (Ursula Le Guin)
The Doomsday Book (Connie Willis)
Kindred (Octavia Butler)
Memory (Lois McMaster Bujold)
I'm having trouble making up my mind. They all look so good. :D
(And my head is still stuck in my last book.)
Any suggestions?

Yes, I'm actually interested. I remember having pretty distinctive thoughts on the epilogues. Just wondering how they struck another reader.

I'm interpreting this to be Good Guys vs. Bad Guys so I can read Mirror Dance by Lois McMaster Bujold which is up next in the Vorkosigan Saga that I've been reading this year. These are always terrific, so I'm quite excited. :D

I've finished with The Fortune of War by Patrick O'Brian. It was a reread (listened, this time) so it went very quickly.
Not sure what's up next. Either Harry Potter or another Vorkosigan.

Then rolled a 6, landing on Genre: Historical Fiction. I was thinking about Gone with the Wind, but I don't want to spend the whole readathon on one book. So I'm going with The Fortune of War which is next in the Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian. So it's off to sea for me!

I really enjoyed it this time around. I found it very rich and filled with things to think about. I managed to pick up an Audible with Anthony Heald as the reader. He was terrific! It made such a difference and helped me to understand the individual characters better.

P. P. S. Lol!

This is a one book challenge. Read a book with the hottest title you can find. ;-)
Anything related to heat will do.
For example:
Heat Wave
Catching Fire
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
The Girl Who Played with Fire
Burning Bright
Daughter of Smoke & Bone
Love in the Time of Global Warming
Don't Sweat the Small Stuff ... and it's all small stuff: Simple Ways to Keep the Little Things from Taking Over Your Life

My favorites were...
Emma
The Warden
Brothers in Arms
Desolation Island
The Looking Glass War
The Devil & Sherlock Holmes: Tales of Murder, Madness & Obsession
The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon
I was pleasantly surprised by...
The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma**
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants**
I also loved the genre (Minority Studies) books I managed to get in...
Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen**
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
Bad Feminist
The Price of Salt
Finally, these books made me wince. I finished both but they were miserable...
The Beach House
Who Moved My Blackberry?
Overall, it was an awesome month of reading!
