That's why there are different kinds of challenges, Mindy. Some are long term and can involve more preplanning. Others are single month/title and are geared toward finding something new. Also, the genre-of-the-month is an opportunity to stretch our own comfort zone. But ultimately each member has to decide what it is they want from the group.... Another reason why there are many options.

Just starting. I can see what Veronique was saying about Ari's voice in the story. I'm very excited this novel.

Good for you! That's the kind of thing I would procrastinate on forever.

I like your idea for a "catch up" challenge, Sam. Thanks for your feedback.

Are you planning to do a thread for each book?

Besides... Even one Bingo qualifies us for Holly's cute Bingo badge!

20 out of 25 is great!
That's exactly where I was with the Winter Bingo. It's annoying how you can have so many books but they just don't fall into tidy bingo columns.

BLACKOUT!
Obviously, I did nothing yesterday, but read. It was a good day. :D

I've read and reread HP series. I'm working through a couple of other series so I'm not sure I can fit it in. But I'll definitely join the conversation.

I believe so, yes. You can double check using Holly's board.

I'm going to try to finish up some of the longer challenges. Like the Decade Challenge. And maybe try some of the reading games.

Official Start date is June 20, but members can begin posting now. :)

I have just two books to go to complete the Blackout!
I4: Mental Illness:
The Devil & Sherlock Holmes: Tales of Murder, Madness & ObsessionN1: Published this Year:
Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen

Great! I'll go check that out. Thanks, Allison!

Many people alter their reading choices when the warm weather brings vacation hours. Plus, your Mods have opened up several new Games (and Challenges) to spark your mid-year enthusiasm. Do you have any new reading plans brewing for the summer months?
What do you plan to read this summer?

How is your reading coming along this month? Do you have any favorites? Any that made you wince? Any that surprised you? How will you finish out the month?

I really enjoyed Career of Evil as well, Sonia. It's one series I've been reading as each book is published. Usually I don't have the patience for that but I really like the Mai characters.
( Funny that the last series I read as each was published was Harry Potter.)

Mission: Read Three books with July, August, September in the title before the end of summer. September 20.

Just a few more days left on this one!
