That's why there are different kinds of challenges, Mindy. Some are long term and can involve more preplanning. Others are single month/title and are geared toward finding something new. Also, the genre-of-the-month is an opportunity to stretch our own comfort zone. But ultimately each member has to decide what it is they want from the group.... Another reason why there are many options.

Just starting. I can see what Veronique was saying about Ari's voice in the story. I'm very excited this novel.

Good for you! That's the kind of thing I would procrastinate on forever.

That's exactly where I was with the Winter Bingo. It's annoying how you can have so many books but they just don't fall into tidy bingo columns.

I've read and reread HP series. I'm working through a couple of other series so I'm not sure I can fit it in. But I'll definitely join the conversation.

How is your reading coming along this month? Do you have any favorites? Any that made you wince? Any that surprised you? How will you finish out the month?

I really enjoyed Career of Evil as well, Sonia. It's one series I've been reading as each book is published. Usually I don't have the patience for that but I really like the Mai characters.

( Funny that the last series I read as each was published was Harry Potter.)
