The first Master and Commander is the most technical. But it sets up the friendship between Jack and Stephen which is so integral to the series. I've read 12 is the 20 books but am starting over with audio to refresh before I continue. It's really quite wonderful. There's elements of every delightful thing I love about great stories, across almost every genre.

I agree. There's definitely a lot of emotions explored. Especially the way people get treated in high school. All that angst and effort to find your way. Gah!

Finally! I had the hardest time finding a book for this challenge. Started several that I just wasn't in the mood for. Finally found The Inn at Rose Harbor which was very sweet, cozy, escapist romance. So, hurrah! I've finished this challenge!
