I guess if Cam'ael cleans a lot and Starling visits, Starling can't stand the strong smells of Pine-sol or other cleaners.

I'm actually transcribing the edits I made for the first chapter on paper into Scrivener. :3 My goal is to get it posted in a couple weeks.
I managed to get a couple free hours. I've been kind of sick the past week, so I drew instead. I got tired of coloring what others had drawn for me, so I drew my own stuff. haha

I hate flip-flop sounds, too. Footsteps while wearing them sound so clumsy, clumsier than heels even.

My problem is determining what the narrator knows and doesn't know. lol If Nelly's drunk, does the narrator still see what's happening clearly around her, or is he drunk, too? But then I thought of that video tape concept earlier. lol - I'm confusing myself now. lol

The Scarlet Ribbon
Nelly is very annoyed by the footsteps of people wearing flip=flops. It drives her nuts. She's a sneakers and boots person.
Vladimir is annoyed with technology. He can't stand cell phones and computers. His mother raised him to abstain from technology.
Scarlet is annoyed that her former lover is happy with another girl. :3

It would be much easier if it were first person, but I doubt I could pull off a female first person narrator. xD
But I guess the narrator doesn't have to a person following a character around, either. Let's say every person has a video tape in their heads. My book could be what's recorded on the tape. The narrator is reciting the tape... Nelly's eyes are the cameras and her ears and thoughts make up the audio...
I don't know. lol

Does anybody know what laws there are pertaining to titles? I understand song lyrics, movie footage, and book text are copyright-protected, but are titles protected?

I have a problem, too, somewhat.
I have a limited third person narrator. So if the character my narrator follows is drunk, would the narrator be drunk, too? Or would the narrator remain sober but still know what's going through the character's intoxicated mind?

If you have an epic gun battle in our footy-pajamas, please make note of that! :3

Most of my males have blonde and brown hair. And the two main girls in my current story have green and blue eyes. xD Maybe just state a description that distinguishes them from the person nearby. Her hair's a lot brighter than his.
Sorry, I'm babbling. lol

I like the smell of books and newspapers and dry erase markers. o.O (I don't make a habit of smelling the markers that often. xD)
I'll keep it in mind to sneak in a few smell-related descriptions in each scene or each page or every other page.
