@Samuel - It's fun having so much control x3

@Rick - I'd tried the what-if exercise a few times. Sometimes answering novel-related questions helps, too. I had a question that was what way my character's favorite color and why. I knew it was turquoise, but I never knew why, but then I realized a reason.
A novel is basically a way through which to give others a taste of your interpretation of life.

Now when you saw that young girl--was she glowing? Or did she look how a normal person would look? What did she look like? o.O I always picture a Moaning Murtle-type ghost from Harry Potter xD
My roommate plays defensive tackle for the campus football team, so I think I'll be safe. I refill the hand soap dispenser in exchange for his protection. haha!

When I finished the first draft of my current novel, I spent a little less than a month working on an outline for my next novel (a redo of the first novel I wrote.) The novel involves demons--the old one did, too, but more physical monsters that slaughter and eat people--so I researched info on demons. I came across this monster page, and he had a big section on demons. There were discretion messages all over this section.
So I spent a morning reading, and then spent the afternoon listening to recordings from Coast to Coast AM Radio on YouTube in which the hosts discussed demons with callers. So I'm listening to people's stories, and sometimes calls would suddenly disconnect. A caller whose telling his demonic experience's phone would die suddenly.
By the end of my research session, I learned that demons are attracted to people who read or talk about them. That's why that guy had a warning label on his page. It's 'dangerous' to speak demon names aloud. I also read about how to summon demons--that creeped me out.
Anyway, on to my 'experience.'
So either that night or the night after, I was in my room falling asleep--or maybe I fell asleep and woke an hour later--and my clock radio across my room was hissing and making static sounds. I don't understand how--the radio was on, but I think the dial was broken so no stations played. I think this happened twice, so a day or two after I unplugged that radio and stuck it in my hallway closet.
Maybe it was a coincidence--perhaps something goofy with the alarm turning on the radio. I don't know, but it was spooky to me even if it was caused by just faulty technology. xD
Oh great, I'm talking/writing about demons again.
I have a roommate in my dorm room, so maybe his loud snoring will keep the demons at bay. (I wear ear plugs.) :3

Ken, I wouldn't mind paying a little so many can read the book for free. I never think about money when I write. I just hope for a few people to like it. :3
My dad and an old co-worker's former girlfriend read my story--and I talked to her about it -- so it was worth it. I like to hear people say "Oh, I like this character..." xD

I wrote a book that I finished over 4 years ago and have a cover made 4 years ago for it, and it was pretty exciting. x3 If you have it made before you're finished with the story, it motivates you--it's like you want to get a really really nice (but still rough) draft done, so you can have a hard copy book made with the cover on it--and then you do the edits inside the book. :3

I had a bunch of Beanie Babies and other stuffed toys, and I had placed called Beanie Babie-ville in my living room and my parents' room was a faraway land. x3 The mayor was a penguin named Penguy x3

Thinking back, I've always been interested in creating things. Towns/buildings with blocks and legos, forts outside, short stories, short comics, movies (I made movies in which I had an evil clone, I played both parts, but the clone and I were never in the same clip xD), video games, and now writing. I've been interested in story writing for a while.
But I think anime really drove me into writing an actual novel. :3

@Michael - I think even if you write a novel out of the blue or seat-of-the-pants style, you probably find themes appearing naturally.
@Nichole - :3 - I enjoy writing my current story. The protagonist is female, but I have 3rd person narrative. I think I enjoy it because I spent the previous 3 years before writing it around a male protagonist.
@Jack - That's one aim of the writing game! :D
I want readers to realize the likely consequences of engaging in negative behavior. Revenge is good sometimes, but usually the results end up ugly. Basically my goal is to teach readers to think before they act and a little something about falling prey to deception. :3
The goal of my next novel I hope to start someday in a nutshell is to remind readers that their demons will come back after you. :P

Yeah, he's glasses are covered in fingerprints because he hasn't cleaned them for a while. xD

There's nothing wrong with gorgeous people in our stories. :3 I bet your friend's excited! :D lol maybe Viking can be on the picture printed on the title page inside the book. xD

@Kamil - At least most writing software let you 'add' words to their dictionary. I have to do that for many of my characters and my last name. xD
@Bisky - The other day I put a sentence of my story, and I put "smudgy." I looked it up to see if it's a proper adjective, and I realize it has a British meaning, too. :3 Those glasses sure are humid. xD
I wish the documents in Scrivener were Microsoft Word documents. :( We need some computer person to blend them together--or just improve the Scrivener dictionary. :/
